Chemspider double

edit

Hi,

you added Chemspider here [1]. But that parameter was there already. Since repetition of parameter can lead to mistakes, I removed it. Same for [2]. Ask me if you want more background info about this. -DePiep (talk) 22:12, 9 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Can you please write an explanation of what you are doing and why it matters?

edit

Hello! I noticed that you are making technical changes to many drug articles, such as "Changed SMILES to have stereo." in Enfuvirtide. Can you please write an explanation, perhaps on your userpage, of what kind of changes you are making, why you are doing this, and on what authority? I see that you work for and with ChemSpider. Wikipedia volunteers need to review the changes that you are making, and without some explanation for lay audiences, it is hard to review what you are doing. Ideally you could write an explanation then link to it in your edit summary, so that if anyone wondered about it, they could read it easily. Thanks. Hi, Blue Rasberry . I have edited my userpage to provide more information about who I am, what I am doing, and why. If you have any further questions, please ask. WildCation (talk) 16:03, 27 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Fixing a structural error in Gepotidacin

edit

I've noticed that the structure of the antibiotic Gepotidacin [3] is missing a nitrogen (one of the pyridones should be a pyrazinone). Here's the correct structure on ChemSpider, for example. [1] The original user who posted the structure isn't active any more, and I noticed you'd recently done an edit to the page. Since I don't have an account and am not sure how to upload structure files properly (is it just by the ChemDraw file?), would you mind making the edit? Thanks! -A Postdoc
