Creating multiple articles

edit

Please do not create multiple versions of the same article. The wikipedia Manual of Style does not proscribe acronyms after an organization's name. If there are multiple names appropriate for a single article, please use a redirect. Shadowjams (talk) 21:08, 19 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Karnan in Thanjavur

edit

I want to ask if u have a source that says Sivaji Ganesan's Karnan was filmed/shot in Thanjavur. Because u added the statement without a source, I had to remove it. Kailash29792 (talk) 02:30, 5 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Yes one of the scenes was filmed in Thanjavur Palace Complex. I personally witnessed it in the 1960's — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikishooter (talkcontribs)

Hello, I'm Winner 42. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Thanjavur seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hello Winner 42, Being born & bred in Thanjavur I can readily state ground facts. Cutting and pasting government statistics cannot be viewed as a neutral point of view. The present write-up says that Thanjavur waste management is 100% efficient - my goodness ... you come to Thanjavur and see the garbage and filth piled up on road corners . . .

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.Ssriram mt (talk) 03:28, 1 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
Hello Wikishooter. I am Diannaa and I am an administrator on this wiki. I have removed your additions to the article. All material added to this wiki needs to be sourced to reliable sources such as newspapers, magazines, reputable websites, or the like. Your own observations of conditions in the city are not an appropriate addition to the encyclopedia. Please refer to Help:Contents for information on how to contribute effectively to the encyclopedia, or ask a question at the Teahouse. -- Diannaa (talk) 04:36, 1 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Hotel Parisutham

edit

Hello Wikishooter,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Hotel Parisutham for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
