DJ Sandstorm moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, DJ Sandstorm, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 09:08, 3 August 2017 (UTC) Hi, thanks for your messages and guide-lines. I am not trying to 'delete speedy deletion notices' if you think so. I am the artist 'DJ Sandstorm' myself, the person who this page is about. The only thing I did today was: creating an English version of the already existing Dutch artist page about my DJ activities: https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/DJ_SandstormReply

No problem is there is more editing to be done. Will do so and follow your guidelines. Thanks and best regards, Sander Verhaar http://www.djsandstorm.com

Proposed deletion of DJ Sandstorm

edit

The article DJ Sandstorm has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.   Please do not remove Biographies of Living Persons PRODs from articles, as you did with DJ Sandstorm, unless reliable sources have been provided. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the respective talk page instead. Thank you. Cabayi (talk) 09:59, 3 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to remove speedy deletion notices from pages you created yourself, as you did at DJ Sandstorm, you may be blocked from editing. Cabayi (talk) 10:00, 3 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but it appears you have written or added to an article about yourself, at DJ Sandstorm. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Cabayi (talk) 10:46, 3 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

In response to your comments above, the Dutch wikipage, nl:DJ Sandstorm would not survive on this wiki as it does not cite any sources. Cabayi (talk) 10:57, 3 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
