I guess I should tell you this too. Template:Infobox_Album#Advanced_usage. Don't go and change the formatting. --- Realest4Life 23:03, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

Thanks heaps for yet another barnstar. It comes as a surprise since you also gave me one a week earlier ;) Spellcast 06:20, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

G-Unit Records members

OK, just so you know, you should not say that guys like Hussein Fatal and Young Noble are a part of G-Unit Records. I don't know who started this, but someone is interpreting it all wrong. Just because they are signed to Ca$hville Records (which is not distributed by G-Unit Records, because G-Unit can't distribute, it is only an imprint, Interscope Records distributes for G-Unit Records, so I assume that Ca$hville is either distributed by Interscope Records or some other distributor, since Ca$hville is only an imprint as well), that does not mean they should be labelled as G-Unit Records members. They are signed to an imprint record label owned by a G-Unit Records artist. Same goes for Dumout Records members, 150 Entertainment members, Infamous Records members, and all these other imprints. None of the artists signed to those imprints are signed to G-Unit Records, because none of those imprints are distributed by G-Unit Records (I already explained why G-Unit Records can't distribute for other imprints). Same goes for labels owned by Aftermath Entertainment and Shady Records, Aftermath and Shady are both imprints, so they can't distribute for another imprint. Oh, and Shadyville Entertainment and Money Management Group (or whatever you call it; I'm referring to the Sha Money XL company) are not record labels, they are companies. I am not very sure as to what Shadyville does, but I know that Money Management Group is a career management company. So, just because someone is signed to some imprint label owned by an artist signed to G-Unit Records, that does not mean that that someone should be in the G-Unit category. Same goes for Aftermath Entertainment artists that have their own imprints and for Shady Records artists that have their own imprints. Also, just because someone is signed to the Money Management Group, it does not mean they should be in the G-Unit category, see Consequence. Shadyville is in the same situation, guys like Cut Killer do not belong in the G-Unit category. So please do not say they are associated with G-Unit. Cut Killer might be associated with DJ Whoo Kid, but that is not enough for him to be considered a part of the G-Unit family. Thank you for understanding. When you see someone else making this error, please tell them to stop and explain to them why they are wrong. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me for help. Thank you for understanding. --- Realest4Life 23:14, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Assesment

Hi, I have been working on this Wikiproject all dayy lol. Its nice to see that somebody appreciates it!. Anyway im just adding the rating feature to th template as you requested on the talk page. It may take about 45 mins/1 hour more. Please bear with me and try not to make drastic changes to the templates or assessment page. Also I created the page twice by accident as I spelt it wrong. Thanks --The-G-Unit-Boss 18:37, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Hi, Im not too sure what you mean --The-G-Unit-Boss 18:43, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I think that that would be very hard to do as it would require linking both the template and the assessment pages with code. I do not know how to do that, however I have added the rating system and the importance system like the hip hop project. If you wish you can start adding things such as "{{G-Unit Records/Project|nested=yes|class=GA|importance=top" etc etc to the templates on talk pages. Please see the assesment page --Thanks

Hi, Just wanted to ask if you was happy with the class system and everything on the templates. Also do you think that the 'G-Unit Records Barnstar' is ok? Thanks --The-G-Unit-Boss 19:21, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Hi, Ive fixed them now and if you put the little bit in the template on an articles talk page it should show up in all of the correct categories now. --The-G-Unit-Boss 19:41, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Project Template

Hi, Yes it should be included into : Artists articles, Their Albums, Their Songs (singles etc), Discographies, The same as the hip hop template but only to G-Unit records relating articles. Thanks --The-G-Unit-Boss 17:58, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

Redirect of 50s Back(Say Somethin Bitch)

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on 50s Back(Say Somethin Bitch), by Schutz (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because 50s Back(Say Somethin Bitch) is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting 50s Back(Say Somethin Bitch), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. Orphaned non-free image (Image:50's Back(Say Somethin Bitch).jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:50's Back(Say Somethin Bitch).jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 05:56, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Message

Hi, I just wanted to drop by and ask you what you thought of my re-formatting of both the G-Unit and Eminem articles? I just wanted to hear somebody elses opinion on it.

Also just wanted to say that when you use {{Reflist|2}} it is mainly for articles with very large numbers of references such as Transformers (film), whereas {{Reflist}} is the same as <references/>.

And finally I would like to say thanks for saying that you "respect" me. I respect your work also :). --The-G-Unit-Boss 17:49, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi, um I dont know why the 50 Cent article does not have a singles list. i added it per Gwen Stefani which is a featured article. I will add one and see if it gets removed. Also I think that the pictures on your userpage may get removed. I had some on mine and they got removed because their licenses do not cover the use on user pages etc. --The-G-Unit-Boss 18:52, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Re: The Game filmography

I assure you that a discography is not only limited to music cds. I recommend you look at featured discographies such as Gwen Stefani discography, Hilary Duff discography, Sophie Ellis-Bextor discography, and Goldfrapp discography and base your edits on them. Although there's probably nothing wrong with a filmography in Game's article. So I'll leave your edits as it is. Spellcast 02:06, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Category:Kyle XY

As Dr. Submillimeter (an active maintainer of categories) explained it to me, TV show categories look marginally useful for navigation (although this is slight if there is only an article and two subcategories), but they may also be abused as people will use them to list actors, producers, etc. who have worked on the series. It has been established by consensus that the latter is undesirable, because working on a show is not a defining characteristic of a person.

So, Category:Kyle XY is bound to be deleted again. The show has its own template, and this is considered sufficient for navigating between articles. Similar categories for other shows will likewise be deleted when the elves get round to it. - Fayenatic london (talk) 21:44, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

Re: Question about 50 Cent

Hi, regarding whos signed to G-Unit Records and who isnt. I think that G-Unit as a group are signed to it as well as its members ie Young Buck, Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks and 50 Cent as solo artists. However other users believe that 50 Cent is not. I think that they are all signed as both solo artists and as a group. What do you think? --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 13:59, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

50 Cent

Hi, They are looking good. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 20:13, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi Shady. Regarding the 50 Cent images, I'm pretty sure fair use doesn't apply to the article. It was removed by a User:Seraphimblade and I think he knows what he's talking about. If you disagree, I'd recommend bringing it up with him. Spellcast 12:31, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

The amount of copyright material should be small. Nonfree material should only be used if it increases the reader's understanding in a way that words can't. When there's a free image of 50, I don't see how a mugshot significantly contributes to the article. I really don't think fair use applies here, so I'll bring it up at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions to make sure. Spellcast 13:48, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Jam Master Jay Records

Jam Master Jay Records, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Jam Master Jay Records satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jam Master Jay Records and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Jam Master Jay Records during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion.   Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ja Rule, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please read WP:POINT Wikipedia:Disruptive editing, there are plenty of folks on Wikipedia who know damn well that a person who started an article about a record company, Jam Master Jay Records "known for signing 50 Cent" knows damn well who Ja Rule is. Thank you for not wasting other editors' time like this again. KP Botany 16:47, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

Because I remember adding reference #11 in 50 Cent. I thought the pic looked familiar! Spellcast 11:49, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

I changed the heading to simply "Ventures". It's redundant to put "outside of music" when the first sentence says it's about "fields outside of his rapping career". It's clear from the first sentence that it's about non-musical stuff. Headings look better if you keep them simple. And it's obvious the section isn't about music because it's not under "Life and music career". Spellcast 17:50, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

Fair use disputed for Image:Beats Vol 1 Amor.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Beats Vol 1 Amor.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 02:30, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

Images

Hey Shady, it's probably worth telling you this since many images you upload to Commons end up being deleted. Not every image licensed under Creative Commons (CC) is actually a free image. For example, this picture is obviously copyrighted despite it being licensed under CC. I don't know if it's obvious to you, but photo shoots/publicity shots are always copyrighted. Simply go to Google, type in any celebrity and you'll see what I mean. It should be easy to tell the difference between a copyrighted image and a free one the moment you look at it. For example, the 50 Cent pic is free because it's clear the person who uploaded it took it himself. Whereas that Eminem one I gave above obviously wasn't taken by the uploader. I hope you understand. That's a different account. Efil4tselaer: Resurrected was renamed to Dead Wrong, so it had to be redirected, but Efil4tselaer was my former account. --- Who's the one you call Mr. Macho? The head honcho, swift fist like Camacho 19:13, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Hi Shady, I noticed you nominated 50's discography for an FAC. The sales are going to be constantly updated the next few weeks, so it fails WP:FACR #1e. They won't pass it if they see it's unstable so I suggest withdrawing the nomination (if possible). It should be fine though in the next few months. Spellcast 20:46, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

You can simply revert your edit on WP:FAC and Talk:50 Cent discography (that's what I did when I nominated 50 Cent for GAC and later changed my mind). It'll definitely pass though before the end of this year. It's just that discographies are generally not stable when a musician recently releases an album. Spellcast 20:52, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Come & Go

Uuuuh, first of all my booklet says "Come and Go" in the inside. Maybe it's a misprint? I don't know, but I do know you need to chill the hell out and show some "G-Unity" haha. --Ayoleftyz 17:31, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

Musician Template

I see you keep on reverting or changing back the style for the musician template on Kanye West. The proper format for the band template are from Template:Navbox_musical_artist. This is the standard for the template. Please stop reverting it back to the old format that isn't used anymore. Thank you. Douglasr007 06:28, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
