What a great video! I've shared it on Facebook. But sadly if you'll read WP:EL you will see that it's inappropriate. It's one of those things that is never obvious to new users and a mistake I made when I was new. Doug Weller talk 13:39, 4 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Your recent GA nominations

edit

WikiUserREAL, we appreciate your interest in the GA process. However, I have just reverted your two GA nominations made earlier today, for Constantine I of Greece and William II of England. In both cases, you are not a significant contributor to the article—indeed, your single edits to each article were reverted—and per the GA nomination instructions page, Nominators who are not significant contributors to the article should consult regular editors of the article on the article talk page prior to a nomination., something you have not done.

Before you do any further nominations, I would like to recommend that you review the GA criteria—there are specific metrics that an article must meet, whether or not you feel it is "good". Among other things, articles must be verifiable, yet the Constantine article has a template in it stating This section needs additional citations for verification, so it would likely be quickfailed due to verifiability issues until it has been improved. Indeed, it is seriously under-referenced, with five "citation needed" templates, most in places other than the section in question, and has uncited quotes, a severe issue. Best of luck going forward. Your GA nomination George II of Greece

edit

Dear WikiUserREAL. This is just to tell you that I failed your GA nomination of George II of Greece after a prolonged inactivity on the GA discussion page. Do not despair. If you feel like it, fix the still outstanding issues and nominate it again. Best regards, Johannes Schade (talk) 10:48, 30 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
