Disambiguation link notification for March 7 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Vincent van Gogh chronology, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Theo van Gogh (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Help us improve wikimeets by filling in the UK Wikimeet survey! edit

Hello! I'm running a survey to identify the best way to notify Wikimedians about upcoming UK wikimeets (informal, in-person social meetings of Wikimedians), and to see if we can improve UK wikimeets to make them accessible and attractive to more editors and readers. All questions are optional, and it will take about 10 minutes to complete. Please fill it in at:

request for help with Turkish sources edit

Hello, I found you as one of the four active wikipedians listed in the Category:Translators_tr-en, and would like to ask for your kind assistance, if you have a bit of time. I'm working on a biography of a professor in Florida, who is a native of Turkey, and also sometimes a visiting professor there. Trouble being, of course, that I don't speak Turkish myself. The article was in draftspace, but has just recently been moved to mainspace, please see Turhan Nejat Veziroğlu and the talkpage thereof. Thanks, 75.108.94.227 (talk) 17:11, 10 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
