ZipDX
ZipDX is a Silicon Valley-based advanced audio collaboration service that solves problems common with traditional phone conferencing services and enhances the productivity of business conferences.
The ZipDX service difference is based on a set of unique features, including support for Wideband Audio. ZipDX is the only service in the US market currently (updated October 2008) that supports standards-based wideband audio available today for users of Polycom HD VoiceTM products and select VoIP-based systems.
ZipDX has an issued US Patent 7,343,008 [1] for its no-codes conferencing technology that eliminates the need for conference codes and moderator codes typical to audio conferencing service providers. The system and methods focus on individual users instead of groups of participants. Instead of assigning a code to each conference, ZipDX stores an 'identity' for each individual user of the system, and services can be personalized for each user.
