Your recent editing history at Islamism shows that you are in danger of breaking the three-revert rule, or that you may have already broken it. An editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Breaking the three-revert rule often leads to a block.

If you wish to avoid being blocked, instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to discuss the changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. You may still be blocked for edit warring even if you do not exceed the technical limit of the three-revert rule if your behavior indicates that you intend to continue to revert repeatedly. I am looking for a revote on redirect of islamist to islamism. The term islamism implies links to communism and fascism and is not used tto describe polital islam except among chosen neo con and orientalist circles Wholetruth123 (talk) 23:55, 16 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Could you clarify the process of revoting on the redirection of islamist to islamism?

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Drmies (talk) 01:08, 17 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • You are warned for edit warring, then you continue to edit war, then you get blocked, and only then do you ask for advice? Whatever you want is only going to be found through achieving consensus. Please don't email me to ask such questions; it's useless. You might well use your enforced break to read up on policy, esp. Wikipedia:Consensus. Drmies (talk) 02:56, 17 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.

  • You can participate in this discussion by placing comments on your talk page. I will ask if someone will be nice enough to copy your comments, should you have any, from your talk page to the noticeboard. If you wish to know why I am asking for others' opinion: I am concerned that you are combining unreliable sources, original research, and synthesis to further some sort of political goal. Wholetruth123 - if you have any comments you'd like placed on that page, post them here and I'll copy them over for you. Kevin (talk) 03:09, 17 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

redirect of islamist to islamism should be revoted

edit

I am unsatisfied with wiki's redirect of islamist to islamism. It would be in the same nature as redirecting African americans to nigger. This redirection actually plays into an agenda while I am questioned If I have an agenda. The agenda is already in place and I am objecting to it. Being rather new to wiki I apologize if did something wrong. I am trying to understand the policies and procedures.

I searched for both the original vote and the revote and I am unable to find who all participated in the the original vote to redirect islamist to islamism and what the process is to request a revote. I did both post request and sent request to booga loui re clarification of the revote process.

Drmies, It is your claim that an Islamist adheres to Islamism. kindly prove it from the words or writings of an Islamist. The comparison from African american to nigger fits exactly. Why do you speak in such an insulting tone? Why not have free speech and let the Islamists define themselves and the contra view can also be there to let people chose. Why bring claim I was opposed to this redirect in the past when I wasn't even aware of the redirect. I am requesting removal of the redirect you should have a vote and obtain consensus rather than applying your opinion and considering any opposition to be wrong. In an open forum why do you get to decide what will be redirected and what will not be redirected? Wholetruth123 (talk) 16:16, 20 February 2012 (UTC) Hello.
