Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 21:20, 25 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

January 2014

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw that you edited or created Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Malik Muhammad Jahangir, and I noticed that the username you have chosen, "Whitepearl1", seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of something other than yourself. Please note that you may not edit on behalf of a company, group, institution, product, or website which relates to the entity in question, and Wikipedia does not allow usernames that are promotional or accounts that are shared. If you are willing to use a personal account, please take a moment to create a new account or request a username change that represents only yourself as an individual. You should also read our Conflict of interest guideline and Plain and simple conflict of interest guide, and remember that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. You may not have a username that is the name of a firm or organization DES (talk) 01:49, 26 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended for publicity and/or promotional purposes. If you intend to edit constructively in other topic areas, you may be granted the right to continue under a change of username. Please read the following carefully.
Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, website or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but such groups are generally discouraged from using Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.

Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?

Probably not, although if you can demonstrate a pattern of future editing in strict accordance with our neutral point of view policy, you may be granted this right. See Wikipedia's FAQ for Organizations for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, organization, or clients. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit Wikipedia again.

What can I do now?

If you have no interest in writing about some other topic than your organization, group, company, or product, you may consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

If you do intend to make useful contributions here about some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} on your user talk page.
  • Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
    • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
    • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Request reason:

I am telling you since the start of the account that I losted my past ID and I wanted to have the ID which I could remember so I opted for the simple name of white pearl which I could remember. My name is Amna Nasir Jamal and I am writer. You could google my name even. Please fix it or change my username yourself. I am not good in handling applications .

Decline reason:

You have addressed only the username issue. You have not addressed at all the fact that your editing has been a blatant attempt to use Wikipedia for promotion, and nothing you say suggests that you have any plan to do anything else other than promote a person and business that you appear to be paid to promote. Please help me out.--Whitepearl1 (talk) 05:30, 17 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

As told you earlier it is not for commercial use. Make sense if it was for commercial then why do I add references as evidence that he is notable. Enough references are there. I am new to this work of wikipedia so not able to understand many things. You people thinks that I am into commercial use. NO thats wrong. Let me tell you the truth.I am sure [or may be not] one cant understand such things. I spent over two month in writing all this...while drafting his profile tears were pouring in my eyes coz he is my husband and we are about to divorce. I drafted this profile to keep my memories and his life of notability always visible for me. I know that such feelings are hard to understand and people think emotions and attachments are also commercial.he dont or even no one will ever come to know who drafted this write-up/profile/bio. To never make anyone realize i opted for the name of the company. One ID n past i losted will make anyone realize that I wrote. I dont know or idea that IDs are visible or not. But to keep myself hidden it. Just as hidden token of love, emotions, attachment I did ..... If you understand and realize then please help me out. If you say I will edit/delete those things which you feel not possible to get published. But I have provided authenticated details. Not all in this world is for commercial..... my this act is just a token of love..Its truth and nothing but truth. the online piece whenever one see will be a hidden tribute to my hidden of love.If ever he come to know that I wrote this then at least make realize how madly I love him. whenever i type the alphabet while writing this the tears were pouring. Please understand my love for him is not commercial. 1- It was just to keep my privacy. 2- I am innocent and not breaching policies it is just a token of love for my husband with whom I have cordial affection which is about to be split. 3- I am new user and only a writer and above all a loving wife and don’t know much about the technicalities that how to change ID [as asked that whitepearl1 is not a suitable name so since zero I launched new ID). Just to give him token I was impatient to make it online. 4- I have a good faith in wiki team so need extreme kind of help to convey my affection to someone [husband]. Its truth and nothing but truth that not for publicity. Many of the businessmen profile are online like of My husbands’ bro Malik Muhammad Asif, and others are Mian Muhammad mansha etc. 5- To portray his notability as documentary evidence has included maximum references. 6- Need cooperation and guide of Wikipedia with good faith --Whitepearl1 (talk) 11:02, 3 March 2014 (UTC)
