What is PROD

I put in a simple definition of an internet abreviatioen that wasn't archived and it was proposd to be deleted by you, and you left PROD in brackets. I'm new, so i'm not familiar with everything on here, but i'm sure i didn't break any rules. This is all i said: "SLIIF an abbreviation for “so lame it isn't funny” derived from SLIF(So lame it's funny)" jai614 12:10, 21 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

WP:DEP

In reply to comment left on MPN's talk page

I apologize for my actions on dead end pages. I assumed that pages listed on DEP were just that, dead end pages, and there were other WP namespace pages that listed the other problems the pages had. Thanks for notifying me though. The sooner I know i'm not doing something right, the better! :) I'll remember next time to put forth the additional steps you listed on my talk page when reviewing dead-end pages.

BTW, i don't know if you have authority over this, but can you rebuild the list? Many of the pages there were already wikified, and many are deleted pages. MPN 19:35, 29 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Intoxicating Substances Act 1985

Why did you add a copyvio tag to Intoxicating Substances Act 1985? I didn't see anything on there that would constitute a violation. --Eastlaw 20:20, 30 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • Ok, I didn't realize that...sorry. I am not the one who originally wrote that page anyway, I was just trying to clean it up. Anyway, as far as I know, statutes in most countries are public domain, so even if the page is copryrighted, the statute itself is not. --Eastlaw 20:31, 30 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

    • To be honest with you, I really don't know whether this is the "official" published version of the statute or merely a summary thereof. This is a UK statute, and I only know a little bit about British law (I am an American law student, so I can't give you much help here). I would have to do some research on the matter to answer that question for you. If I find anything out, I will get back to you. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused. --Eastlaw 20:52, 30 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Walhalla temple

Thank you for improving this article. I consider adding a category to each persons's article, maybe simply "Walhalla", "Walhalla temple", "Walhalla enshrinee" or something. What do you suggest? I guess the "German Hall of Famer" would sound too sports-related. --Matthead 02:08, 25 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Meadowmount article

Just wondering what prompted you to delete Sally Thomas from the notable teachers at Meadowmount. Her history as an assistant to Ivan Galamian along with her many years of quality service at the Meadowmount and Juilliard schools should be recognized. Look for some of her former students -- you might be surprised.--Czechsteve 03:21, 28 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Annotating DEP

In reply to comment left on meatclerk's talk page; now archived:

Hi WhiteJay, Just a note. I noted the updates and did not delete the entries oon the DEP for several reasons. The first is my own notes, just to keep track of where I am. This and I also track my PRODs. Second I've noted some people adding the articles to others but not making any improvements, or worse not verifying the material as worthy, or valid. I figure if they seem my notes, they might take example. There are more, but I've getting ready for work and I will working on it tonight again, after 9pm local time. I plan on working on DEP for about a week then taking a break; maybe a month. Best Regards, meatclerk 17:00, 12 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
