Proposed deletion of Odd Fellows Temple (Frankfort, Kentucky) edit

The article Odd Fellows Temple (Frankfort, Kentucky) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG and WP:V

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Hey Whisenhimer, I'm sorry you're having a bad experience with one or more of your contributions to start. It is very hard to get started in Wikipedia. Contact me at my Talk page if I might be able to help. --doncram 06:01, 4 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
To User:JMHamo, i noticed activity at List of Odd Fellows buildings and then found my way to here. Hey, editor Whisenhimer's original version of article may not have established Wikipedia notability clearly (i can't see it), but I dug around and found that the 1872 building built for the Odd Fellows in Frankfort is in fact listed on the National Register of Historic Places, as a contributing building in a historic district that does not yet have a wikipedia article, Frankfort Commercial Historic District (Frankfort, Kentucky) (currently a redlink, covered in NRHP document here). Could you please restore the article (and ping me), so that I may develop it together with Whisenhimer. It may get moved, perhaps to "Oddfellows Lodge (Frankfort, Kentucky)" as the 317 St. Clair Street building is referred to in the NRHP nomination. Or I may move it to the historic district article title, and then expand that to be about the district while keeping a section about the Odd Fellows building. --doncram 06:07, 4 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
Well, the article got restored and I added a bit, and it should be okay now. Whisenhimer, however, are you still here? I fear that you were driven away by the unpleasantness of having your contribution deleted. :( --doncram 22:42, 10 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
