Hank Hanegraaf Insertion

Ralph - Please see my comments on the Hank Hanegraaf page. Three things to note: 1) The "default" position when adding new information to an article, particularly Biographies of Living Persons, is to leave it out until it is agreed to; 2) If you revert it back in the main article again today, you will be in violation of the Three Revert Rule - because this is a contentious edit to a biography page, my reverting it is exempt from the WP:3RR, though I will have to report it on the notice board if you continue adding it without consensus; 3) I do not know where the help page is for Wikipedia editing formatting, but you might search for it, as the free-form structure you have been using in your comments does not format well in Wikipedia.

Just to let you know, I've made a suggestion on the Hank Hannegraaff page to make your newly suggested section (on TLC) fit within the WP:BLP guidelines. If you have no objections, I will make those changes to the main page later today, when I have time. If you do have objections, and want to go through an iterative process to come to a consensus version, I will remove that section from the main page and put a copy of it in the talk page, where we can come to agreement on it, and then migrate it to the main page.--Lyonscc (talk) 13:52, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. Problem with your custom signature

You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. A change to Wikipedia's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software.

The problem: Your preferences are set to interpret your custom signature as wikitext. However, your current custom signature does not contain any wikitext.

The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.

Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:

1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
3. Remove anything in the Signature: text box. (It might already be empty.)
4. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (The red "Restore all default settings" button will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)

Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:

1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
3. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page.
