Deletion discussion about Prithvilus willardi edit

Hello, Wesborden,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Elmidae and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Prithvilus willardi should be deleted. Your comments are welcome over Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Prithvilus willardi .

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Elmidae}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

@Elmidae: That is correct. Deletion is necessary, The current taxonomic classification of this snake's genus is Crotalus. The AZ department of Game and Fish uses the old genus name, as do a few websites on snakes in the southwest U.S.. Thank you for catching this so quickly. In the future I will try to do additional fact checking before attempting an article --Wesborden (talk) 01:48, 17 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

  • Oh no! just looked at my sources on the article, and they all say Crotalus I need to be much more careful next time. --Wesborden (talk) 02:20, 17 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
