Request reason:
I was blocked unjustly, without providing a clear and proper reason for my blocking by a Russian user https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Ymblanter after I participated in a discussion on a talk page regarding the ways of spelling "Kyiv" vs "Kiev", where I supported the spelling based on Ukrainian language, which naturally irritates Russian imperialists who seek to preserve the "Kiev" spelling based on Russian language, I did not vandalize any articles or do any harm to wikipedia by providing false information in the articles. Googling a little about the username of person who blocked me, I found out that he is already somewhat famous for issuing indefinite blocks for false reasons to gay members of the community (just because they're gay) and generally being disrespectful and unethical commentaries regarding some contributors (calling them "мрази" - "scum" and such) and it is really not clear to me why must I suffer ban from wikipedia for some unclear and fake reasons ("block evasion" is mentioned, but I never tried to evade any blocks, in fact I'm blocked for the first time right now, while the real reason was that Russian Ymblanter simply doesn't like Ukrainian language). Thank you.
Decline reason:
I have investigated this block. You make the implication that you were blocked because you are a member of the gay community. Looking at every single one of your edits, there's no case, ever, where you stated you were gay, thus it is absolutely impossible that this block was placed on you for that reason. Additionally, there's a long-term block-evading vandal who acts basically exactly as you have done, including making exactly the same arguments. As such, I believe your block is valid and in any case, your personal attacks have lead me to revoke your talk page access. This still leaves you with WP:UTRS, if you wish to pursue the matter further. Yamla (talk) 20:17, 5 August 2017 (UTC)
