DYK for Talented 10th
editOn 26 January 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Talented 10th, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Christian hip hop artist Sho Baraka attracted controversy when he used the word "nigga" on the album Talented 10th? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Talented 10th. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Disrupted Ads, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.fatbeats.com/products/oh-no-disrupted-ads-cd.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Speedy deletion nomination of Capital STEEZ
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Capital STEEZ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Gaijin42 (talk) 16:10, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (File:Dirty slums 2.jpg)
editThanks for uploading File:Dirty slums 2.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 05:16, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
July 2013
editHello, I'm 155blue. I noticed that you recently removed some content from 2010 in hip hop music without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, you can use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! 155blue (talk) 20:26, 10 July 2013 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Boy in da Corner, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 18:15, 16 July 2013 (UTC)
The article 1999 (mixtape) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No reliable sourcing.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Apatow Productions. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. editPlease stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at 2012 in hip hop music, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. STATic message me! 23:47, 5 August 2013 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at 2013 in hip hop music, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. STATic message me! 23:48, 5 August 2013 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Run the jewels.jpg
editA tag has been placed on File:Run the jewels.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
