August 2008 edit

Hello there, you may want to take a look at some other pages like Wikipedia:Your First Article or school articles which have attained a FA rating on wikipedia at Wikipedia:WikiProject Schools for ideas on useful contributions to school articles. – Zedla (talk) 20:43, 13 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Bloomington High School North. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. copying images and text directly from http://www.mccsc.edu/~nmartin/BHSNsign.html which is hosted on a site with the copyright notice "© 1998 MCCSC"Zedla (talk) 21:29, 13 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

All information I posted on the Bloomington High School North page, is my content and are my pictures, and may be similar to my content and pictures on my web pages www.mccsc.edu/~bhsnalum and www.mccsc.edu/~nmartin/BHSNsign.html as I am web master there. WebgalWebgal (talk)

In which case you need to take a careful look at WP:COPYREQ. The mccsc.edu website has the above mentioned copyright notice and you will either need to make an explicit release notice at www.mccsc.edu with acceptable terms for reuse on wikipedia or send an e-mail per the instructions under "Declaration of consent for all enquiries". – Zedla (talk) 00:38, 14 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
