Happy 2007 everybody!

Video blog edit

Hi Wayland,

I'm looking to get the video blog article expanded and I noticed videoblogging is listed as one of your interests. It would be great if you could take a look at the video blog article and expand it or simply comment on it. Thanks Pdelongchamp 20:24, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hey Wayland, thanks for you contributions! Pdelongchamp 16:30, 9 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Don't mind the dispute. Another user tried unsucessfully to have me banned because I was removing his original research. See the results of the ban request. I was hoping to get a few more contributors interested which is why I contacted you. I'm on vacation next week so you won't hear from me very much but hopefully we can get the article into a better state. I like your thoughts. Pdelongchamp 13:09, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image:Waylandsvi2.jpg listed for deletion edit

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:Waylandsvi2.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. The Burroughs Report edit

The Burroughs Report has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt the subject might not be notable enough for an article. Please review Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability for the relevant guidelines. If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so.

If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the "prod" notice, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If you remove the prod notice, the deletion process will stop, but if an editor is still not satisfied that the article meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion for consensus. Livery Dole edit

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Livery Dole, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Livery Dole, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. You are free to edit the content of Livery Dole during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Image:Books.JPG edit

If you took that image, the copyright is yours. It is true the covers are copyrighted, but they are only incidentally contained in the image; you added artistic input by arranging them, and so your work is not derivative of the covers. You should change the license tag to a free license, or the image will be unusable, since we don't allow fair use images to be used for decoration like this image is. — Carl (CBM · talk) 19:41, 22 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

    • Thanks! I've changed the licence tag to a public domain one. --wayland 20:58, 30 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Marjorie Franklin edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have perfomed a web search with the contents of Marjorie Franklin, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://vv.arts.ucla.edu/terminals/t1/ucsc/franklin/Franklin.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 04:25, 14 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Tag removed and explanation placed on the article's talk page. --wayland 04:35, 14 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
