Tagging articles with POV-review.

Welcome to Wikipedia; you have tagged these three articles Existence of God, Institute_of_Noetic_Sciences and World_Concern with POV-review. Could you please explain in the talk page for each of the articles your main area of concern. I don't know about the last two but the Existence of God is a heavy edited article with a good balance of editors and so it's very unlikely that it would be allowed to drift too far out of neutral but I could be wrong. Either way it's going to be hard to address your concerns without a better guideline as to what they are. Apologies if the talk stuff was pending and I jumped in too soon. Thank you for the welcome and "heads up" on my tags. I'm still learning the use of tools and procedures. I will have questions...

How long does one usually have to research explanations for TAGS before they are removed? Yes I was editing in the talk session...no need for apologies. I applaud your enthusiasm. --Watchdog09 (talk) 00:58, 16 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Usually you would have a very clear idea how the article fails Wikipedia:Neutral_point_of_view and would see glaring problems before you would tag an article. If you don't start a new talk section with a title of something like "A POV review due to" something then after a while the tags would be removed without discussion. To start a new talk section when you go to the article talk page then at the top click the "New Section" give it a clear title referring to the POV review and then explain what your concerns are with the WP:NPOV as your guideline. The problem is that WP:NPOV is one of the hardest, but essential, policies to effect for religious subjects (where *everything* is subjective). If your concern is that the topic misses a related field e.g. I see you posted about symbols so I'm guessing you see that lack of references to Semiotics with respect to God e.g. Walker Percy perhaps or no God e.g. Roland Barthes then make that clear. (Though I cannot help here as I view the symbols of religion in the same way I do product branding and marketing and cannot divorce myself from the idea that there is no difference in intent between a coke bottle and a Pyx).
