Template:NovelsWikiProject edit

Recent changes to this template now mean that "Template"s tagged with it are appearing as unassessed - which is wrong. Are you able to fix this please.

Update edit

John Carter: I am having difficulty due to an ongoing WP:AN/I[1] that was filed about me by User:Orderinchaos on September 5, 2008; it's now been going on for 2 days despite several who view it as a "travesty" calling for it to end. I wonder if you might take a look at the parts relating to my adoption by User:Ecoleetage and clarify for those posting there the facts of the adoption. My archive page 21 contains the exchanges between you, me, and Ecoleetage re: the offer and my acceptance of it. My archive page 22 contains the exchange in which Ecoleetage posted his decision to cancel my adoption based on his belief then that I did not need his further guidance. I have already posted a new request for a new adopter on my talk page and posted a request to another potential adopter. Thank you. --NYScholar (talk) 00:30, 8 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

P.S. In adding my message, I also moved to August 13, 2008 a message from a new user who added the comment to the [very] top of your talk page instead of what was then the bottom. I hope that is okay. I did not want to disturb the chronology of comments on your page. --NYScholar (talk) 00:33, 8 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Further update: I have been adopted by Shell Kinney. --NYScholar (talk) 01:59, 8 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Shell adjusted the adopt-a-user template on my current talk page to indicate that she has adopted me. I look forward to learning from her. --NYScholar (talk) 02:19, 8 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Calling all active WP:NOVELS members edit

WikiProject Novels Roll Call

WikiProject Novels is currently holding a roll call, which we hope to have annually. Your username is listed on the members list, but we are unsure as to which editors are still active within the project. If you still consider yourself an active WP:Novels editor, please add your name back to the Active Members list. Also feel free to join any of our task forces and take a look at the project's Job Centre to get involved!

Next month we will begin the coordinator election selection process. We hope to have more involvement and input this time around! More news will be forthcoming. Thanks, everyone! María (habla conmigo) 16:27, 8 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please return to WikProject Media franchises edit

Dear John Carter...You are invited to come back to discuss WikiProject Media franchises. Since you participated in one or more discussions of the project, possibly when it was known as WikiProject Fictional series, I hope to see you return to it. The project needs your participation. Currently there is no activity on the project's talk page about the reorganization which is discouraging. I had great expectations for this project as it touches so many topics but am becoming discouraged. I hope to see you return. Freemasonry wikiproject edit

May be of interest, User:MSJapan/Freemasonry MOS. Rather worried that MSJ and Blueboar will be able to define concensus. JASpencer (talk) 18:21, 17 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sigh... JAS does not seem to understand the difference between an active project guideline and a draft of such on user space. MSJ will submit his draft to the Project for discussion prior to implimentation. Blueboar (talk) 19:12, 18 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Lives of the Irish Saints edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Lives of the Irish Saints, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. 1928 Okeechobee hurricane edit

I noticed that you are the sole member of the Caribbean/Guadeloupe wikiproject. If indeed you have interest in Guadeloupe, I need your help. 1928 Okeechobee hurricane is rapidly approaching it's 80-year anniversary and the information on Guadeloupe is sorely lacking. We need help! We have editors that want to fix this but we can't find any sources for the effects on the French-speaking country. If you can find anything and write about it or even provide us with links (english translations), we can solve this. If you're interested in helping with Guadeloupe effects of other hurricanes feel free to join us at the WP:WPTC. — jdorje (talk) 03:21, 21 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Bande Dessinée portal edit

Hello, I saw that you are a portal peer review volunteer. I have worked much for the improvement of my portal, but some concerns may remain:

  • Is the image at the top of the page useful and aesthetic, or should I remove or replace it ?
  • Problem with the selected biography: I contented myself with writing a short sentence as an introduction for each personality. Then I wrote the beginning of the biography, then put a link "more..." to the complete article. Is it approriate ?
  • Selected images are not of the same size. Is it really a problem ? It should be noted that free images for comics are very rare.
  • Is the presentation of the news correct ? I did not specified the exact date of each event, only the month, because I do not know it.
  • If you have any other recommendations about other aspects of the portal, do not hesitate ! It MUST become a featured portal ! Thanks. (Please reply here).--Pah777 (talk) 22:02, 21 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello, you are receiving this message because you voted in the last FAC for this article. Currently, it is undergoing a peer review and I invite you to come view the page and offer any suggestions for improvement here [2]. Over the past three months, the page has been improved with additional scholarly works, trims, two new sections suggested in and attention to concerns raised during the last FAC. Thanks in advance for your time, attention and help to bring this important article to FA. NancyHeise talk 00:09, 28 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
