Sorry to hear

I once had to take nine months off because of some crazy editor's obsessive behavior. I know where you're coming from. I hope you come back, and that you let me know when you do. -- Tenebrae (talk) 16:15, 17 August 2016 (UTC)

Can't do it, to much needs done and I can't sit and let it all get wasted. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" (talk) 04:09, 19 August 2016 (UTC)

Archives

You really should archive your talk page. lol. CrashUnderride 04:48, 21 August 2016 (UTC)

Droid crashes when I try, don't have laptop back yet. Just been clearing it. Never anything that important anyways lol Chris "WarMachineWildThing" (talk) 08:37, 21 August 2016 (UTC)

You could do what a lot of people (myself included as of recently) use Lowercase sigmabot III. It's automated so it won't crash your Droid. CrashUnderride 14:42, 21 August 2016 (UTC)

I have no clue how to use those bots Chris "WarMachineWildThing" (talk) 17:15, 21 August 2016 (UTC)

Easy, just copy this (click edit to get it in the right/better layout and remove the nowiki markups):

{{User:MiszaBot/config | algo = old(30d) | archive = User talk:WarMachineWildThing/Archive %(counter)d | counter = 1 | maxarchivesize = 150K | archiveheader = {{Automatic archive navigator}} | minthreadstoarchive = 1 | minthreadsleft = 4 }}

and post it at the top of your talk page and your set. :D CrashUnderride 18:48, 21 August 2016 (UTC)

Think I got it Chris "WarMachineWildThing" (talk) 18:56, 21 August 2016 (UTC)

(talk page stalker)Speaking of archiving... you should also try the OneClickArchiver. It allows you to archive things in one click in case the 30 days takes too long. Woodstop45 (talk) 19:01, 21 August 2016 (UTC)

Note

I wasn't trying to OWN it im just trying to fix vandalism I apologize HulaHoopWWE (talk) 02:53, 22 August 2016 (UTC)

You keep adding back other Vandalism with those reverts. You need to look over the whole thing before reverting to make sure. Secondly that section you keep removing is what I am talking about. It's there for a reason. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" (talk) 02:56, 22 August 2016 (UTC)

I said I apologize HulaHoopWWE (talk) 04:09, 22 August 2016 (UTC)

It's not about apologizeing, which is great that you were it's just understanding that when you revert make sure your not putting back more Vandalism. I understand it was hard to keep up, I was right there trying to catch it all too. When you remove something that isn't Vandalism though that others keep putting on there it's called edit warring and can be taken as OWNISH behavior. It's all good man this is what Wikipedia is working together. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" (talk) 04:14, 22 August 2016 (UTC)

Your message

I'm afraid I didn't see anything. --Tenebrae (talk) 01:35, 23 August 2016 (UTC)

hmmm odd, I used the email this user page maybe you dont have an email connected? Chris "WarMachineWildThing" (talk) 01:38, 23 August 2016 (UTC)

Image caption

Per the WP:MOS image captions should be succinct and convey information that relates the image to the article. Basically it doesn't matter to the reader of the article whose collection is pictured. It doesn't matter to the encyclopaedia, either, of a better image was consensually agreed on we'd use that. Including a link to your user page does not add value. We also don't credit photographers in article space, the information in the image page serves the licence requirements. Hope that helps. Hiding T 09:10, 26 August 2016 (UTC)

Gotcha Chris "WarMachineWildThing" 09:13, 26 August 2016 (UTC)

A hello from Anna

I just wanted to drop by and say, you guessed it, "hello". I'm a very friendly admin and am around if you ever need anything. Also, I love your userpage photo and you have a lovely family! Best, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 00:48, 27 August 2016 (UTC)

Thanks, everyone on the left side of the picture is my family, my wife and 3 daughters, the right side is friends. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 00:51, 27 August 2016 (UTC)

Sock accounts

Yeah, and thanks for keeping an eye out. Another editor, Sro23, has found similar IPs at Superman ownership disputes‎. I've noted them at User talk:108.12.101.46. --Tenebrae (talk) 21:31, 31 August 2016 (UTC)

Yes, Zjec on his talk page exhibits the same type of arrogance and insulting opinions about other editors. He's was blocked at one point for edit-warring, and I'd be surprised if he didn't originate from the Netherlands, as I believe the other socks did. It really is an obsession with this person.--Tenebrae (talk) 03:44, 4 September 2016 (UTC)

Sad truly is Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 03:53, 4 September 2016 (UTC)

Tom Welling

It's not a hill I'm willing to die on, and I won't argue for it, but between you and me I think it would be a conspicuous absence not to include Welling. Even if the word "Superman" wasn't uttered, large parts of the Superman mythos are there: Smallville, Ma and Pa Kent, Lana Lang, the particular superpowers, etc. If all that Superman mythos is there, it seems to me that Welling, as Clark Kent, belongs in a list of actors playing Superman / Superboy. Clark Kent is Superman, so named or not, it's certainly not misleading. But like I said, it's not something I want to fight to include. --Tenebrae (talk) 22:58, 4 September 2016 (UTC)

Ill revert it back, good points Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 23:35, 4 September 2016 (UTC)

The Usos

Thanks for helping with Chriscross619. The edit you reverted however, had the correct date, as they were last heels in early 2011, before they turned face in June 2011. The issue is he's been using 2010 as the date they were last heels, which is when they originally debuted.Dohvahkiin (talk) 02:56, 14 September 2016 (UTC)

@Dohvahkiin: I was looking at your revert which was when they did incorrect info and reading what you said and I typed it while I was thinking it, it was just supposed to be Unsourced. I'm trying to get them to understand that things need sourced. It's not just the USO article this is happening with, it's several. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 03:08, 14 September 2016 (UTC)

@WarMachineWildThing: No, I completely understand. Believe me, he's been doing this since last Thursday. The page even got protected because of it, yet he found a way to get around that by creating an actual account. I don't think it's gonna be easy trying to get him to understand however. If you need help, let me know.Dohvahkiin (talk) 03:11, 14 September 2016 (UTC)

@Dohvahkiin: not sure if your watching my page. If you read their talk page I'm trying to explain but I can't tell if they are playing with me or seriously dont understand. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 03:14, 14 September 2016 (UTC)

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

Hello, WarMachineWildThing. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

The IP you've reported to Oshwah followed you to his talk page and is attempting to remove your post. I suggest you keep an eye on the page. I'll do what I can. 3RR doesn't apply because it's clearly vandalism. Gestrid (talk) 03:29, 23 November 2016 (UTC)

Just so you know

Just so you know, we really do care about you. Harassment is one of the top things not tolerated here, and it should definitely be dealt with as soon as possible. We've started a discussion on ANI about what to do about this editor. Five months is way too long a time for this to go on! See WP:ANI#Edit warring, incivilty, block evades from an IP contributor for the discussion. We would definitely appreciate any help you could give to us in helping to block the editor as much as possible. Gestrid (talk) 07:15, 23 November 2016 (UTC)

  • Hi. I have only just become aware of this harassment problem and I've increased the length of the block on the latest IP which is static. I now have your talk page on my watchlist, and I will revert any harassment I see and will block the IPs doing it - and I will also apply semi-protection whenever it seems appropriate. I suggest you simply ignore any further harassment posted here and I, or someone else, will deal with it. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 09:44, 23 November 2016 (UTC)

Oshwah I approve of the Indefinite semi block of my talk page. Furthermore you failed at nothing, you did what you could humanly possibility do. I will be staying on my self-imposed block for now, when I feel it is right I will be back. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 16:47, 23 November 2016 (UTC)

  • Just to let you know a few of us are watching now, we have a range block on the latest IPv6 address, and we'll do the same with any new ones that crop up. Do take a little time off if you think that's what you need, and when you choose to come back we'll do the best we can to protect you from harassment. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 17:16, 23 November 2016 (UTC)

Thanks, Due to not being able to defend myself like I normally would, the Indef self block is the better choice right now. Appreciate all everyone has done. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 17:21, 23 November 2016 (UTC)

WarMachineWildThing -   Done. You're also doing the right thing by taking a break and allowing yourself to clear your head and cool off. Now that I'm aware of this long-term harassment issue (as well as other admins at ANI), I'll be able to respond and keep it away much quicker now. Message me when you're back and when you're ready! It'll be good to say hi to you! Until then -- ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 17:54, 23 November 2016 (UTC)

Don't go.

Saw your kind words. Want to say to you don't go. Yeah, vandalism is a pain in he ass, but it's still only a small part of what there is to do here, and you're too good of an editor to loose. It is true that there are certain areas that tend to attract more vandalism than others, and pro wrestling, the one area I've interacted the most with you, happens to be one of those areas, but reverting, and using the anti-vandalism notice boards (WP:AIV and WP:RFPP) help. Heck, I was finally able to get WWE World Championship permanently semi-protected. No more random vandalism. Also, I filed a case at WP:ANI seeking a range block for IPs in the 117.103.88.XX range, as the repeat vandal is working from different computers in that area. oknazevad (talk) 12:48, 4 December 2016 (UTC)

When dealing with Wikipedia articles, got to keep the long term view in mind. Sure, some idiot changing the name of the current title holder to themself or to the guy they wish was champ is stupid, but if it's there for only 20 minutes on an article that's been around for over a decade, that's not a big deal. Don't let the fools get you down; as the saying goes, the only way for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. And you're one of the good guys. Hate to lose you. oknazevad (talk) 12:41, 4 December 2016 (UTC)

Hello WMWT. I agree with the rest and hope that you will reconsider and continue editing here at WikiP. I know that it is a task worthy of Sisyphus dealing with all of the trolls that exist so I understand your frustrations. If you do feel that it is best for you to stay retired I just want to say thanks for your efforts here and best wishes to you in now and in the future. MarnetteD|Talk 17:14, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
Ditto. I haven't been on Wikipedia much lately due to family and work obligations in part, but also because of the frequent aggravation by trolls and vandals. You're an important and valued colleague, and I hope you're only taking a temporary break since otherwise, as they say, the bad guys win.
Also: Thank you for the very kind words, and right back at'cha.--Tenebrae (talk) 18:05, 4 December 2016 (UTC)

Ditto! Gestrid (talk) 05:22, 6 December 2016 (UTC)

Rollbacker permissions

Given how much you deal with counter-vandalism and how much those vandals apparently love to harass you, I suggest you apply for the Rollbacker permission. This will allow you to immediately undo all consecutive edits by an IP or user after only one click. It should only be used on what you know to be blatant vandalism. If you do get it, I suggest using this so you don't accidentally rollback non-vandalism edits. You can read more about the Rollbacker permission at WP:ROLL. Getting the Rollbacker permission also allows you to use the Huggle tool if you so desire. Gestrid (talk) 04:09, 6 December 2016 (UTC)

I have I was denied Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 04:10, 6 December 2016 (UTC)

That was three months ago. Three months can make a pretty big difference. If you have been working in anti-vandalism, I suggest you try again. Gestrid (talk) 04:16, 6 December 2016 (UTC)

Done, not holding my breath Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 04:22, 6 December 2016 (UTC)

I asked Oshwah on WP:IRC if he thought you would get Rollbacker this time around. He said he would give it to you if you got some experience reporting users to WP:AIV. (This can be done with Twinkle from any user's "home" or talk page by selecting ARV in the Twinkle dropdown menu and selecting "Vandalism (WP:AIV)" as the report type.) Gestrid (talk) 04:44, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
He went ahead and declined your request, but you should read his declining reason: Wikipedia:Requests_for_permissions/Rollback#User:WarMachineWildThing. Gestrid (talk) 04:46, 6 December 2016 (UTC)

Last time I was told to use the warn feature on Twinkle because I wasn't warning users afterwards, which I've done. Now it's aiv, not gonna be on here that much so yeah don't need it.....Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 04:58, 6 December 2016 (UTC)

Yeah, AIV is the part that comes after you believe the user has been sufficiently warned. Depending on the user, that's usually after 3-4 warnings. Gestrid (talk) 04:59, 6 December 2016 (UTC)

Welp Ive never warned a user more than once, so can't Aiv for 1 warning. Most either stop or someone else hits them with the 3 or 4 and AIVs them. I'm good not gonna be here much like I said anyways. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 05:06, 6 December 2016 (UTC)

Well, if you ever run into any that you think deserve an immediate block (ex. they replaced a Biography of a Living Person article with something that should be removed from public view completely), you now know how to do it. Anyway, Oshwah also said (again, on IRC) that once he sees some evidence of AIV experience, he'll grant it to you without you having to ask. Gestrid (talk) 05:16, 6 December 2016 (UTC)

Won't see much reverting from me anyways unless it's unsourced material. Hitting Vandalism is what got me dragged into the last 5 months of hell. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 05:20, 6 December 2016 (UTC)

Good point. Gestrid (talk) 05:22, 6 December 2016 (UTC)

NXT

Here's my deal with NXT and why I was so fervent about it.

The strident desire to call it a developmental. I felt that with all the leaps and pounds NXT took with doing international tours and whatnot, that calling it merely a "developmental" wasn't giving an accurate account of the reality on the ground.

A developmental is a place where rookies are learning the ropes. It's like people still had this vision of NXT as it was in 2012 (with a young Seth Rollins having to help put the ring together to earn meal money), and not seeing the 2016 version.

You don't bring in Nakamura, Joe, Roode, and Eric Young to "teach them" the tricks of the trade, you know.

That's why I was finding every source I could that documented NXT's growth.

So that's where we are.

Vjmlhds (talk) Vjmlhds 06:46, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

While I understand that, it is still a form of development for even guys like Joe, Eric, etc. because they have to learn WWEs way of doing things, perfect example of this is mistico/sin cara, he just couldn't adapt. So it isn't just development for the rookies really, it's really for rooks and vets alike to master their character, or mic skills or whatever before getting put on live TV. One of the best things about NXT is how they tape so much in advance so if ya screw up your fine. I think the only true brand or brands is just WWE as a whole, I fully get what your saying though and admire your passion about it. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 06:57, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

Word to the wise

Do not fuck with others' comments, as you did here [1]. It's not your place. EEng 07:08, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

Is that a threat?? Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 07:11, 11 December 2016 (UTC)
Well, in that if you do it again you're likely to get blocked, I suppose yes, you could see it as a threat. Or you could see it as someone trying to help you understand how things work around here. I have no idea where you get the idea it's OK to remove others' posts. My comment was perfectly serious, by the way. See WP:TPO. EEng 07:15, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

Your comment did not pertain to the ANI, it's straight WP:POV you said the samething here just changed the subject. You are not trying to help anyone. You just wanna try to intimidate someone who doesn't agree with you, dont post to my talk again with your empty threats, you've been reported already, I suggest you back off Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 07:24, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

Collapsing seems appropriate. Serious or not, it was off topic and would've derailed a thread that needs a solution. I'm also not sure if it's correct, in my experience wrestling conflicts (admittedly there are many) seem far less likely to make it to make it to a noticeboard than conflicts in other areas. We lack a sufficient number of experienced editors who know how to report and care enough to.LM2000 (talk) 07:26, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

LM2000 I did change to collapse, and got this Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 07:29, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

It obviously is off topic and belongs collapsed but I don't want to enter into a rockfight over it. The thread will hopefully get closed soon and we can all just move on.LM2000 (talk) 07:34, 11 December 2016 (UTC)
@LM2000: Just to be clear, WMWT went to Oshwah for help. He later decided to act WP:BOLDly and didn't know that WP:TPO existed. When he later hatted the comments, he was following a suggestion I'd given him after I saw his comments on Oshwah's page (after he'd initially removed the comments). This was definitely a case where we should all assume good faith and overlook the mistake. Gestrid (talk) 07:44, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

Gestrid, LM2000 wasn't the user making the issue out of it or trying to make threats about it. LM agreed about hiding it. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 07:48, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

I don't agree with Davey but it'll be moved sooner or later anyway.LM2000 (talk) 21:09, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

LM2000 he had no reason to move it back, it was a legitimate move, the user who moved it has been here 9 months and over 3000 edits its another typical "I've been here longer attitude" from a vet user. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 21:31, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

I had every reason to move it back - As I said on my tp I'd rather this gets moved by either an established editor or admin (the latter being my preference), Me being here longer is irrelevant, FWIW I too support the move however I'd rather it was done properly, If doing things by the book is a crime then I'm guilty as charged!. –Davey2010Talk 23:27, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

So because YOU say 9 months isn't long enough that's how it is?? The move was legitimate per the consensus, seeing as you were involved with that consensus you shouldn't have touched it either way. Like I said another vet shitting on newer users.Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 23:43, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

Well

Oknazevad Crash Underride Tenebrae LM2000 Gestrid Oshwah Dane I gave it another chance as I said. If it's not IP jumping it's Vet users shitting on New users because of their "by God they haven't been here long enough because I said so" attitude. This is why Wikipedia is like it is and can't keep new users because of vet users like EEng and Davey2010 who think they have the right to say what new users can and can't do and when you confront them and prove them wrong they just delete it and have their vet buddies help to make sure you can't respond. Good luck, guess I'll see ya in 10yrs maybe by then assholes like that will have finally learned they don't own Wiki and don't have the right to treat new users like they are shit. If there is even a wiki left by then. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 00:35, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

I don't blame you for stepping away. Collaboration is frustrating by nature, especially when dealing with different interpretations of the same policy. I've found that most of the time the right side comes out on top but the road to get there isn't always an easy one. Hope to see you again at some point.LM2000 (talk) 03:51, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

It's not collaboration when vets like this chase away new users and say other vets are wrong with what they tell you to do and they are right and new users are always wrong. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 03:56, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

Yes, I know there's a WP:BITE guideline that is unfortunately overlooked far too often.LM2000 (talk) 03:58, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

But it's ok don't ya know because their vets and their always right according to this and this. This is why Wikipedia new users are falling off because nothing is done about this bullshit. But what do I know I've only been here 9 months. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 04:05, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

Yeah, I know what Chris' talking about. It's gotten worse in the last 9 years. When I came here, I got adopted and helped out, now people just jump on the newbies for the most part. I mean, I'm always double checking any edit that I see on my watchlist from an IP, but I try not to bite them unless they're being purposely dishonest, or lying. (talk page stalker) CrashUnderride 05:18, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

I wish you guys all the best, I'm not doing it anymore WP:BITE is ignored way to much. You can't become an experienced editor when new users are chased away by vets with that type of attitude. Peace Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 16:39, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

Funny thing is, I actually put out an ANI for an IP user who was really abusive to DantODB earlier in the day (which resulted in the IP user getting blocked), and then Dant starts going after me on the article, it was like "after all I did for you with that trouble maker earlier, you turn around and edit war me" - talk about looking a gift horse in the mouth. So that's how all that got started, and now here we are. Vjmlhds (talk) 05:13, 27 December 2016 (UTC)

CurseOfFenric SPI

You did nothing wrong. The first step in SPIs is to see if they can just use a tool to determine if there is a link between the account(s) and IP(s). There is a rule against "outing" accounts by publicly stating a link to an IP, so declining a checkuser investigation is mostly a formality (in other words, the tool can only be used if there are multiple registered accounts, not IPs, being investigated). Unfortunately, administrators often don't bother with the next step, which is actually considering the evidence presented and seeing if there is a sufficient behavioral link between the two accounts. This takes more effort than most administrators are willing to put in, so they will often just ignore the SPI for a month or so, declare it "stale", and close it without taking any action. It's not a great system, or even a good system, but it's what we've got, I guess. GaryColemanFan (talk) 19:24, 1 January 2017 (UTC)

@GaryColemanFan: Yeah I just got told that a CU hasnt ever been requested before, but if that's the case then why is there one archived for them here and why is the cu template on their page here. Kinda feel like it wasn't even looked at. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 19:40, 1 January 2017 (UTC)

SPI is clearly useless, so glad I wasted my time on putting one together and nice to see Admins let indeffed users to continue causing issues even after being provided with clear cut evidence they are block evading. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 20:24, 1 January 2017 (UTC)

Edit warring

The minute he went on my Talk page and started throwing around threats, I knew there was no talking to the guy. Especially, when any sources I would add would be deemed "unreliable", even though one of the sources was literally from the same place as one of the ones he's been using. Hopefully this sock puppet account has been dealt with. Thanks. Hellboy42 (talk)

WWE Hall of Fame

I was about to add a source until you undid all of my work. Idiot. Now, you're removing my posts on your talk page and therefore aren't even allowing me to reply to your posts on mine. You may be banned from Wikipedia for removing perfectly valid information. DaveA2424 (talk) 04:09, 4 January 2017 (UTC)

First off You have no source, WWE has not announced any WWE Hall of Fame for 2017, so until WWE announces it, ITS UNSOURCED. Secondly take your rudeness elsewhere before you find yourself blocked. Last warning. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 04:13, 4 January 2017 (UTC)

What are you, the Wikipedia police? You're not intimidating me. Stop trying to act tough from behind a screen. The sensible thing to do would have been to post a message on my talk page first and then I could have dealt with it myself, rather than undoing everything that I had done up until that point. I see that this isn't the first time that you have acted like this on Wikipedia, so I suppose that you can consider this YOUR "last warning". DaveA2424 (talk) 04:22, 4 January 2017 (UTC)

You were issued standard warnings via Twinkle by myself and @InFlamester20:. Per WP:PW/RS you must provide a reliable source which you did not do 3 times, yet you published your edits 3 times and removed other content in the process. Your talk was full of warnings for doing it before until you removed it all, which is still in the history. Then you chose to come here calling childish names. So unless WWE has released the 2017 Hall class, which they haven't you have no reliable source. Which means the reverts were per policy.Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 04:31, 4 January 2017 (UTC)

Warnings? Who do you think you are? Get off your high horse and stop playing Wikipedia police. First of all, my talk page had content on it that was entirely unrelated to what we're talking about, so I'm not sure why you're bringing that up. Secondly, what I posted on the WWE Hall of Fame page was completely valid information which you had no right to remove. What you should have done was message me first and let me sort it out rather than undoing other user's work. I'm going to hold back on adding my 'To Be Inducted In 2017' section for a while for the sake of avoiding an edit war but you're on thin ice, idiot. DaveA2424 (talk) 16:56, 4 January 2017 (UTC)

No source provided, your talk page is full of warnings from other articles for the same thing. Warnings are standard when users like yourself have a battlefield mentality and continue to fight editors. You were warned by 2 users to stop, I have told you to stop posting here yet you continue so Your harrassment has been reported, I suggest you stop. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 16:59, 4 January 2017 (UTC)

(talk page stalker)Dave, I also suggest you stop. Policies like WP:OR, WP:RS and WP:V are in place to prevent edits like the one you keep making. Calling someone an idiot is going to land you on thin ice, we don't tolerate that here. I'm glad you are hold off on adding your edits, preferably you will do so until WWE officially announces them.LM2000 (talk) 17:51, 4 January 2017 (UTC)
yet another --- (talk page stalker) bwaahaha. Hi Chris, are you familiar with looking at talk page version histories and user contribs etc? I note that Dave has been on Wikipedia <12 months, has talked to very few eds at their talk pages, and hasn't talked to anyone at user talk other than you for a half year. In particular, at their talk page they delete warnings that others put up, but you can see that in the version hitsory and if you file at ANI you can point to the bit at WP:OWNTALK that says deletion of a warning is evidence that it was received. If you do file, I suggest you scroll through past filings to find those that are laid out very well in outline form, with bold used to set of section headings. If it has a very high signal-to-noise ratio, you're more likely to get action, and Dave is certainly way out of line in terms of WP:AGF, WP:NPA, and WP:CIVILITY. Finally, I can't help but think their attitude towards you is partially related to the mindset about living on the edge now found on their user page. Becky Lynch

I gotta say he wasn't wrong when he said ""La Luchadora" is official name that is same as Christian's Consequestador Dos." Christian's gimmick was used as part of a story line, as was Ciclope for Dean Malenko when he was feuding with Chris Jericho and both of those are listed in the infoboxes. (talk page stalker) CrashUnderride 19:21, 5 January 2017 (UTC)

So we're gonna have 3 people so far listed as La Luchadora because they wore a mask one time? Christian wrestled as Dos more than once. If that's the case why isn't Matt or Jeff Hardy listed as Uno and Dos too as they wore the masks once because they won the titles under that name? Becky wore it one time, Alexa wore it one time, a 3rd woman is wearing it now who we aren't sure who it is yet who has worn it twice, so how many are we going to list with that name? Jericho wore a Sin Cara mask a few weeks ago should we list him as Sin Cara too? Should we create a La Luchadora article now too? I ain't tryin to sound like a dick here but that is really silly. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 23:40, 5 January 2017 (UTC)

Well, as I mentioned, Dean Malekno as Cilcope. It was one episode of Nitro as part of a feud with Chris Jericho, doing exactly the same thing as Becky Lynch as La Lucahdora to Alexa Bliss and Bliss to Lynch this week. (talk page stalker) CrashUnderride 17:09, 6 January 2017 (UTC)

Previous Conversation

I sincerely apologized for my behavior on User: Vjmldhs. Also, I do not want to get into another dispute with you too. He wrote something on my talk page which started the edit-war dispute over the Antenna TV Program page a couple of days ago. Several editors and admins tried to have him blocked during the process of his edit-war. When I read his talk page, others did feel the same way as I did with these edit-wars. I did not mean to go to far on writing on other editors' and admins' talk page asking them on how to block people if I see these types of issues happening. I have never blocked anyone before and I do not know how they do it. In the near future, Wikipedia users, editors and admins need to be cautious when it comes to edit-war on Wikipedia pages. I do not want to be banned or violate from Wikipedia over disputes with other Wikipedia users.

FYI, the Qubo program page has been vandalized so many times by IP users by putting and throwing in improper and unknown television show sources (i.e. Sesame Street, The Big Comfy Couch, Teletubbies, etc...); and the page was semi-protected so many times. I was not sure if this source Mandie and the Forgotten Christmas' was actually true. If it was, I sincerely apologized for deleting it. I thought you threw that in or made that up. Several Wikipedia users who were editing and revising the Qubo program page caught some IP users for throwing shows that they do not normally air or licensed by the Qubo programming. I do not pay much attention to the Qubo programming. Cbears22 (talk) 08:17, 9 January 2017 (UTC)

First off @Cbears22: your not an administrator so you can't block anyone to begin with. Secondly you don't go user to user trying to get someone blocked like you did. There were no other editors posting to his talk page about The Antenna TV Article. Third you need to read up on Wikipedia:policies as your edits were not constructive to the Antenna TV Article and made it more difficult to read for other readers. Forth if you were not sure about the Qubo programming as you just said above that you don't pay attention to it, you shouldn't have edited the Article as it was clearly sourced properly when that program aired. Finally the warning @Vjmlhds: placed on your wall was a standard warning that is placed when editors continue to edit war and are going to break WP:3rr as you were doing. I suggest you WP:DROPTHESTICK and stop trying to get him blocked for something he didn't do.Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 12:52, 9 January 2017 (UTC)

@User: WarMachineWildThing - First of all, thank you for clarifying that Wikipedia users cannot block anyone only Wikipedia administrators. Yes it was my fault that I went out-of-control on that day and asked users to users how they did it. Now I understand that I have to be an admin to do it not a user. Got it!

Second, I do not normally edit pages and update information with articles. When Wikipedia users log onto a page which was edited very frequently, I do not touch it. Again, Qubo has been semi-protected so many times because IP users not Wikipedia users threw in improper television source which is not true. The good news is that Wikipedia users have updated the information very frequently.

Third, Vjmldhs and I have caught each other's attention that the both of us were going back and forth with editing on the Antenna TV program page not the article, but I did not start the edit-war. Other Wikipedia users in the past did not complain to me about the edit-war.

Sorry, I did not want to get you involved in this edit-war subject. I do not want to cause anymore trouble or add more disputes with other Wikipedia users especially users to users. I do not want to start a disputes with other Wikipedia users. I would rather resolve an issue with Wikipedia users in a positive manner on editing or any other Wikipedia issues than complaining, dispute or go user to user's help in resolving a problem. Thank you for your suggestions. I will keep that in mind. Cbears22 (talk) 19:15, 9 January 2017 (UTC)

Are we in high school or something? This mob mentality that you all have adopted in order to harass me and team up against me is pathetic. You are all completely out of line and should be ashamed of yourselves. For the record, I am completely within my rights to remove content from my user talk page in order to maintain a tidy, clean talk page for other users to post on as they wish. Can someone please explain to me how that is against the rules? No, exactly, it isn't. 411 can be used with caution, it hasn't been proven reliable or unreliable. Hence why it says use with caution on WP:PW/RS. Unless 411 its quoting an unreliable site. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 03:21, 20 January 2017 (UTC)

Edit summary from Alexa Bliss

It's Sunday, and I'm not in the mood for a conflict. All I will say is that you should read this page before posting an edit summary in all caps. First off young man I'm old and I'm not in the mood any day. Secondly, it is stated the exact same exact way caps and all in the article, I wasn't yelling at you or being uncivil, I was quoting the articles hidden text. Maybe you need to learn to read the articles hidden text before editting the article next time and I won't have to quote the articles hidden text. This isn't a wrestling news site so stop making those types of edits. Finally, If I was yelling it would look like THIS!!!!!!! for example. Fishhead2100 The YouTube was invaild and a copyright violation, spoke with an admin before removing that one, the website you used is not a vaild source per WP:PW Sources nor is it listed in unreliable BUT no where in the article was the move called Orange Crush which makes your reference invaild again as it showed no proof of the name. Which means you're introducing false and copyright violating refrences which is far worse than your laughable edit warring accusations. If it is a vaild sig move then you should be able to find a reliable source that says that move is called Orange Crush or don't add it, it's that simple. Hollywood Blondes

Hi Chris, The reason I say this is because the original date that PWI said was Oct 17, 1992. YouTube video shows Scott Steiner team with Marcus Bagwell against Pillman and Austin, and Brad Armstrong and Dustin Rhodes vs Pillman and Austin as well before Oct 17. oddly they both say Oct 10, 1992, but that still before Oct 17 1992. Therefore the first time they teamed could not have been Oct 17. I later changed it to Oct 7, but since I was just guessing then I just said in Oct 1992. That is my proof for that claim.

@Davidgoodheart:

First off please learn how to make new sections and not put your message in one of my barnstars. Second learn how to sign your comments and stop pinging yourself. Hellboy42 And you've removed sourced content so do you really want to start pointing fingers? Probably shouldn't throw rocks in a glass house....Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 01:27, 4 March 2017 (UTC)
The sourced content does not say the wrestlers are signed. Just that they appeared at the tapings. Jimmy Havoc, Will Ospreay, Big Damo all appeared multiple times for TNA last year. But they weren't signed to any contracts. Hellboy42 (talk) 01:51, 4 March 2017 (UTC)
Hellboy42 Are you kidding me right now? It's valid sourced content, stop removing it. Next time you will get an official warning and reported. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 02:18, 4 March 2017 (UTC)
No. Just because wrestlers appear on Impact doesn't mean they are actually signed. Like I mentioned Havoc, Ospreay, Big Damo as well as Deonna Purrazzo, Chuck Taylor all appeared multiple time for TNA in 2016, but they weren't contracted and not considered a part of the roster. Josh Barnett appeared multiple times recently, he's not contracted or listed either. WWE has been using indy talent in squash matches recently, none of those are added to the roster. Example, KC Quinn, she got a beat down from Rosemary and didn't even wrestle. How is she considered a part of the roster? It's like adding the random jobbers that wrestle Braun Strowman to the WWE roster just because they appeared on WWE TV. Hellboy42 (talk) 02:34, 4 March 2017 (UTC)
If you remove the sourced content again you will find yourself at ANI. End of discussion. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 02:38, 4 March 2017 (UTC)

I totally agree, almost certainly a sock. Deb (talk) 18:41, 7 March 2017 (UTC)

Hey there! I was reading up on the incident with Vjmlhds and came across your post regarding the issue, specifically explaining your personal life happenings. I wanted to personally wish you well and hope that blessings come your way. Sending good vibes! DantODB (talk) 10:33, 10 March 2017 (UTC)

I send well wishes too. Hope you are doing well.LM2000 (talk) 19:21, 10 March 2017 (UTC)

GretzkyCC

Does this user look like The abominable Wiki troll to you? This and this edit are throwing me off, however. As far as I know these socks have never been interested in Wayne Gretzky or ice hockey before. Pinging LM2000 who also seems to be familiar with this sockmaster. Sro23 (talk) 03:01, 24 March 2017 (UTC)

Sro23 Yes, Ive been watching them. They have hit Sting a few times just like TAWT. Just haven't done anything off the wall yet. I'm about 70% on it. I've even posted to their talk with no response. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 03:34, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
Yes, the Sting edits have the familiar Abominable stench but I don't recall seeing hockey edits in the past.LM2000 (talk) 05:48, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
No but they did always do bs edits before going all out lol Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 06:09, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
That's also true.LM2000 (talk) 06:34, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
LM2000 Sro23 check out their contributions and read some of their summaries, you can see why I'm now 80%. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 07:12, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
At this point I would be very surprised if he turned out to be unrelated to TAWT.LM2000 (talk) 07:35, 24 March 2017 (UTC)

Lmao LM2000 Sro23 guess who geo gives it away everytime. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 06:13, 25 March 2017 (UTC)

Still have no idea where that ice hockey interest all of the sudden came from, but they pretty much admit it here. Sro23 (talk) 09:20, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
Not an interest, they were trying to throw every one off so they wouldn't be noticed. But when you make the same edits all the time you get noticed lol Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 18:47, 27 March 2017 (UTC)

Valued contributions

Sorry to see you've apparently been the victim of ongoing harassment. We've worked together only a couple times, but in my experience you're hard-working and fair. Your contributions are valued even if sometimes it may not seem so. Hope you decide to stick around. Levdr1lp / talk 16:43, 12 April 2017 (UTC)

Got your email. Hope things work out for you. Levdr1lp / talk 19:25, 12 April 2017 (UTC)

La Luchadora discussion

There's a discussion that I think you might be interested in. Cheers! Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Professional_wrestling#La Luchadora. DantODB (talk) 21:03, 19 April 2017 (UTC)

Sorry not interested. Quite frankly I'm sick of arguing with crybaby marks who think they know the business more than someone who has been in it and still has contacts in it. Sorry dude. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 07:34, 20 April 2017 (UTC)

I'm Confused

Why don't you want me to remove that if you have never been blocked? -barrelroll.dev (talk) 00:14, 29 April 2017 (UTC)

I put it there, that's why. Do not do that again Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 00:15, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
Got it. Thanks for clarifying. Sorry.-barrelroll.dev (talk) 00:23, 29 April 2017 (UTC)

A bowl of strawberries for you!

I can't help but feel partly responsible for the harassment you've been receiving lately. It's like the ban proposal I initiated put TAWT in a tizzy and now he's taking out all his frustration on you. For that I'm sorry. Sro23 (talk) 01:31, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
Nothing to be sorry about, they've been doing this for over a year. Not your fault. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 01:59, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
Drop me a line when (if) you want protection changed on your user page. Do you know who the sockmaster is? Antandrus (talk) 02:00, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
Yeah we all do, it's The Abominable Wiki Troll who is already blocked. Anyway I can get all those sick edits Revdeld? Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 02:01, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
Yes -- stay tuned. Antandrus (talk) 02:02, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
Thanks Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 02:04, 29 April 2017 (UTC)

Antandrus This has been going on for over a year since my first run in with TAWT. Hence previous protects on my talk and user. You might add The Patriot (wrestler) to your watchlist as it has been hit it recently as well. Lots and lots of socks. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 02:13, 29 April 2017 (UTC)

That's actually not TAWT. It's User:Jaredgk2008. Funny when different sockmasters intersect. Sro23 (talk) 02:16, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
I was told they were one in the same, guess I was told wrong. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 02:17, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
The gist of it is Jaredgk2008 likes to insert libel/vandalism to a wide variety of BLP's, some of which happen to be wrestlers, whereas TAWT focuses almost exclusively on wrestlers. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I know it can seem overwhelming when two different sockmasters overlap on the same pages, but it actually happens all the time. Sro23 (talk) 02:41, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
Better to know it's 2 and not just the 1 I guess. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 02:44, 29 April 2017 (UTC)

Still around?

It looks like you've decided to stay. If that's the case, I'm glad. Levdr1lp / talk 22:13, 27 July 2017 (UTC)

Here and there Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 22:49, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
Like I said before, your contributions are valued. Levdr1lp / talk 22:55, 27 July 2017 (UTC)

Asuka

Hey there! Hope you've been well! I did see it, but on the bottom of the announcement it said that her reign was set to end on the day when the episode where the announcement is made airs. Not sure if that makes a difference in whether she should still be annotated as champion on the personnel page, but if not, then my bad for adding it back. DantODB (talk) 04:29, 25 August 2017 (UTC)

Haha I got you. Here's hoping it doesn't happen this time around since it's explicitly stated. DantODB (talk) 09:19, 25 August 2017 (UTC)
The reverts are happening. I'm trying to figure out what the policy is. DantODB (talk) 21:06, 25 August 2017 (UTC)
