First of all, you should stop marking your edits as minor, when their clearly not. Second of all, the accusation of vandalism was against another editor who replaced the page with borderline racism spam, as is shown in the page history. And third of all, what is this "Must include" stuff? If it is truly that urgent to put a disclaimer in the very first line in the article which violates undue weight and general prohibitions against most disclaimers, then at least you can contribute to the talk page and discuss it, as several editors have already done in reaction to your very edits. Also, since both of us are now around three reverts, I think it only fair to bring your attention to WP:3RR. Homestarmy 14:09, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
Its just a reference it is minor. There is nothing even remotely racist. You are not being neutral. You are being religious.
- It is the first thing a reader will read in the entire article, and surely you must realize that an open source encyclopedia entry on Jesus might of gone through quite a bit of effort to write a proper introduction? The edit which was reverted for vandalism was this: [[1]]. "Niger" is a cheaptastic way many vandals try to sneak their way around getting banned for outright racism, its pretty obvious he doesn't mean the country here. And there is no rule against being religious on Wikipedia, there is only a rule against pushing a point of view in an article. If the article explicitly stated "Jesus mythers are compleatly and utterly wrong" that's POV pushing. Giving the mainstream and accepted historical and religious viewpoints on Jesus first is not POV pushing when they are attributed as such. (And they pretty much are attributed) However, putting the extreme minority viewpoint first is contradictory to WP:NPOV, specifically the Undue Weight clause. Homestarmy 16:54, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
