Updating links edit

It's simply a matter of editing the page and changing the URL, but there's a few key points to be aware of:

  1. . If the address alone has changed, that's fine to update.
  2. . If the content has changed, we need to make sure that the current source still supports the information in the article. If not, we are better off trying to find an archive link - as an encyclopedia, we are more concerned with support of information than "currency" of information in some cases.
  3. If you are changing a lot of links in a particular article, please post on the talk page of the article and let people know what you are doing first. New users making link changes often get mistaken for vandals. MSJapan (talk) 17:34, 19 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
