September 2019 edit

Hello, I'm ToBeFree. I noticed that you made a change to an article, History of ecology, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 22:01, 30 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Your draft edit

See Wikipedia:So you made a userspace draft for instructions on how to convert your userspace draft into a submitted draft. At that point it goes into the to-be-reviewed pile, where it might get reviewed any time between first day and four months (its a pile, not a queue). During the waiting time you can continued to improve the draft. Drafts are accepted, declined or rejected. There is another path - just making it an article - but first timers are strongly advised against this. New articles are subject to a different review, and if weak in content or format, can be nominated for deletion. That process is on a clock (week or two), and rescuing an article from AfD is harder than improving a declined draft. David notMD (talk) 10:38, 7 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Your thread has been archived edit

Hi WDrit2! You created a thread called David Pimentel at Wikipedia:Teahouse, but it has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days. You can still find the archived discussion here. If you have any additional questions that weren't answered then, please create a new thread.

The NY Times obituary edit

The NY Times obituary appears to be a submitted (paid) obituary versus one written by NY Times staff. I suggest not mentioning that, and especially not quoting from it, as that implies the quote is the opinion of the NY Times. On a larger note, even though you have and have declared a COI, I recommend you continue to edit the draft directly. Only after it is submitted and accepted should you request changes by posting on the Talk page of the article. David notMD (talk) 13:22, 11 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Two Pimentels edit

When the draft is submitted to Articles for creation and is accepted, the accepting reviewer will give it a title that differentiates it from the wrestler. And if someone just enters "David Pimentel" into search and it goes to the wrestler, there will be a mention across the top about the other DP. David notMD (talk) 03:27, 12 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
