Taraziq edit

Welcome! edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

Here are some links to pages you may find useful:

Disambiguation pages edit

Please note that disambiguation pages like Tarazi are meant to help readers find a specific existing article quickly and easily. For that reason, they have guidelines that are different from articles. From the Wikipedia:Disambiguation dos and don'ts you should:

  • Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
  • Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
  • Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry that mentions the title being disambiguated
  • Only add a "red link" if used in existing articles, and include a "blue link" to an appropriate article
  • Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
  • Do not insert external links or references - Wikipedia is not a business directory

If you wish to write an article on the name Tarazi, please read Your First Article. Thank you. Leschnei (talk) 21:50, 11 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Tarazi edit

Hello, W7d3rb. You manually reverted edits to Tarazi, and left an edit comment. Please be aware of three things.

  1. As Leschnei informed you earlier, disambiguation pages are not articles. They should contain only a list of links to existing articles.
  2. Civility is one of Wikipedia's five pillars. The project works best when all participants assume that others are acting in good faith and refrain from personal insults or attacks.
  3. I have moved the content from Tarazi that you reinserted (and I again removed) to Draft:Tarazi (surname). I would encourage you to create the article as you would like to see it. Then submit the draft for review. If all goes well, the new page will be moved to Wikipedia namespace. (Be aware, though, that the review process can take time; perhaps several months.)

I will also echo Leschnei in suggesting that you read Your First Article, and add that Wikipedia:Drafts may also have useful information for you. Happy editing, Cnilep (talk) 22:54, 28 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
