Global Business Network edit

In response to your request on my talk page I have userfied Global Business Network, and you will find it at User:Vtob/Global Business Network. You can edit it there, and it can be relaunched as an article if and when it is ready. (Note that a "usefied" page is a temporary measure to allow work on the article, not a long-term way of avoiding deletion.) I have not restored the latest edits, because they were about as unambiguously promotional as anything I have ever seen on Wikipedia, and would have been sufficient grounds for speedy deletion again, even as a user-space page. Please feel welcome to contact me again on my talk page if you need to. JamesBWatson (talk) 13:18, 28 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the welcome and the help, JBW. Vtob (talk) 14:04, 28 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Hi. I've taken the liberty of "fixing" (standardizing) the formatting of your talkpage here. (added a header, and fixed the indent). Hope that's ok.
The real reason I'm here, is partially as someone with an interest in the GBN (I'm not overly familiar with them, but I have read Peter Schwartz's The Art of the Long View, and a few articles on the Long Now Foundation and I own 5 editions of The Whole Earth Catalog...), and partially as a relatively experienced editor around here. I'm very busy this week, but I'll keep an eye on the userfied copy of the article, and will help out if I can. Feel free to ask me if you'd like pointers towards any guidelines/policies/helppages, I'm great for that! HTH. -- Quiddity (talk) 00:40, 30 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
