Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to List of people by number of countries visited. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 22:13, 8 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi Vic and thanks for your message on my talk page. Content on wikipedia needs to be sourced to independent, reliable sources. This means that adding an external link to your own youtube is not acceptable, nor is adding content without any reference - you would need to find an independent source (newspaper, book, journal etc) that reports your achievement in order to be added to the page. Please also note that wikipedia has a conflict of interest policy, so because you want to add information about yourself, preferably you should not add it directly but rather should suggest it on a talk page. However, if you are able to find an independent source, feel free to let me know and I can have a look and add you to the article if it checks out. If there isn't an independent source, then the content will not be able to be on the page. Cheers, Melcous (talk) 08:02, 9 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
