I notice that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

Where do I draft article changes?

Hi, I'm new. I would like to update The Canadian Journal of Psychiatry page, among others, and I am learning the Wiki system. LeadSongDog mentioned that he edited my initial changes to the page because they were too promotional, which I get. I would appreciate being able to draft something with more information and having it reviewed by an editor (such as LeadSongDog) before posting it live. However, I'm confused. Should I be working in My sandbox or Userspace draft or someplace else? I also don't know how to contact LeadSongDog. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. • Welcome to Wikipedia! Anytime you want to contact another editor, just click on their signature, which will take you to either their userpage or their talkpage. Generally, all editors have separate links to both pages in their signature, but not always. When you get to their talkpage, just click the "new section" link at the top of the page, add a section title, then type out your message. Make sense? As far as drafting edits or creating new articles, you can always work in a subpage of your userspace. For example, click on this link: User:Vstdenis/sandbox and start working there. You can also work on a draft of edits to an existing article in your userspace, for example, here: User:Vstdenis/Canadian Journal of Psychiatry. You can actually copy and paste the article content and work on making some updates there, then when you are done testing out your additions, add them to the article. Another idea is to present your update ideas to other editors on the article's talkpage. This generally works out best, because others are able to work collaboratively with you to improve the article. Just some ideas. If you have more questions, please feel free to contact me anytime.
