Copyright block edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for violating copyright policy by copying text or images into Wikipedia from another source without verifying permission. You have been previously warned that this is against policy, but have persisted.

Please take this opportunity to be sure you understand our copyright policy and our policies regarding how to use non-free content. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. I have blocked you indefinitely, as it seems to me at this point that we cannot trust that you will comply with our copyright policies. In spite of a prior block for this issue and an ongoing WP:CCI evaluating your contributions, less than an hour ago you pasted text from [1] into Parliament of India, including (but not limited to) the following:

The centre and focus of the building is the big circular edifice of the Central Hall. On the three axes, radiating from this centre are placed the three Chambers for Lok Sabha (House of the People), Rajya Sabha (Council of States) and the erstwhile Library Hall (formerly the Princes Chamber) and between them lie garden courts.

The source says:

The centre and focus of the building is the big circular edifice of the Central Hall. On the three axes, radiating from this centre are placed the three Chambers for Lok Sabha (House of the People), Rajya Sabha (Council of States) and the erstwhile Library Hall (formerly the Princes Chamber) and between them lie garden courts.

I do not believe that you should be unblocked without some strong reason to believe that you both understand our copyight policy (including the amount of rewriting necessary to escape creating a derivative work and intend to comply. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:06, 2 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I've read your e-mail, and while certainly it's all in order (and much more encouraging than your last note after your block), I am not comfortable discussing unblocks of this nature off of Wikipedia. If you wish to appeal your block, please do so here through the unblock template which will provide an opportunity for a different administrator to read over your reasons and consider whether you can be trusted with another chance. On the occasion of your first block, which occurred on ongoing issues a full month after your WP:CCI was opened, you were told very clearly here that your account would likely be indefinitely blocked if you continued. I told you then, "You must not copy and paste content; if you cannot put it into your own words, you should not contribute it." Your unblock request really should explain why, in the face of a clear warning and explanation, you continued to copy and paste content and why, since you did so, we can feel confident that you would not do it anymore if you were unblocked. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:38, 18 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
(Incidentally, unless I am misreading your e-mail, you seem to suggest that you are still "unofficially" editing Wikipedia; if that is the case, please stop until you have negotiated an unblock. Editing through another account or IP while blocked is also a policy violation that may make it more difficult for you to officially return, if it is discovered. An indefinite block is not necessary permanent, but may be lifted at any point once we are convinced you are no longer a risk. Evidence that you are violating other policies may make it harder to convince administrators of that. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:41, 18 February 2011 (UTC))Reply

Request reason:

I am very sorry for all troubles I have caused in Wikipedia for not following strictly the copyright and editing policies as an editor. I would like my block to be lifted. It has taken me time to understand what exactly went wrong from my side and how my mistakes harm the ethics and viability of the standing of Wikipedia and its passionate volunteers who contribute to edit and proofread articles in wiki. I have committed a mistake for which I was not allowed to edit for considerable time. I would like an another opportunity allowing myself to edit and create wiki articles of scholarly nature and subjects. Please do not overlook my contribution and the articles I have created. I however to this, regret my bad talks and conversation with Moonriddengirl who was allowing me to learn from what I did. I am grateful that she has been kind enough to overlook through my mistake and answered to all questions, email I had sent to her in regards to this misdemeanor. Sincerely, User:Vrghs jacob (talk)

Decline reason:

Unfortunately, you didn't heed Moonriddengirl's suggestion and have been continuing to edit without logging in. We'll consider a new unblock request when you stop evading this block for a while. --jpgordon::==( o ) 18:34, 22 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I need my right to edit in Wikipedia as an editor. The indefinite block/hold for not editing is causing me great trouble to not edit various and many articles. I love wiki but it drives me mad to not edit officially. I believe I have learnt from my mistake. As I believe there is no one who has done no mistakes likely to be the perfect human being on earth. I need a chance. I would not like a month wait to realize that I could have edited more articles than doing nothing in wiki. As I believe creating a new account, new ip address, with editing is not the solution here but if I see that I am not getting off hold from here in a short time I will be forced for recreate from new account. Decline reason:

The fact that you have ignored every warning and piece of advice that has been given you shows that unblocking you now would be a mistake. When one is trapped in a hole, it's a good idea to stop digging. Requests will not be considered unless and until you respect that you are blocked. You, the person, under any identity are blocked. Stop evading the block as has already been recommended to you. Neither Wikipedia nor your life will be ruined if you take a little time off.Beeblebrox (talk) 01:41, 8 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
