Hi - About Indian Missile edit

Hi Vprajkumar,

Thanks a ton for ur edits on the missile pages, especially on Template:Indian missiles. However, I have reverted your edits, due to reasons that I had already mentioned on the template talk page for using the military navbox template.... hope you don't mind....

For ease of use, I have posted the reasons for the template change and the format below:

1. there are too few missiles in each group to warrant a full width infobox & the military navbox half width box looks much better.
2. it is a proper MILHIST Template, which means it will have a few advantages over the Navbox template, in terms of maintenance and relevance for military related issues. It may not look as good, but the smaller look, in my opinion, balances it out.
3. The location just below the infobox is a good place to put this template because it becomes easy to check out other links as well.... for eg, look at Arjun MBT and the tank template below the infobox for an idea about how it looks..

Also note that Wikipedia:WikiProject_Military_history/Style_guide#Templates also talks about the format for such templates.

Please feel free to discuss on my talk page in teh event of any issues. Thanks. Sniperz11@CS 10:09, 23 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks a ton for fixing the bunching up.... really amazing bit of editing there. And yes, thanks for understanding. Cheers. Sniperz11@CS 05:51, 24 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

About the Engineers and public domain images edit

Hi Raj,

Thanks for your wonderful edits to the Madras Sappers. I have made some changes to Madras Pioneers also. May I request you to give your benevolent attention to the Bombay Sappers and Bengal Sappers also.

You may consider loading public-domain images into Wikimedia Commons instead of Wikipedia as they will then be available to all the language wikipedias.

Proposed deletion of Panchalankurichi (film) edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Panchalankurichi (film), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Article consists of a single line, so is sorely in need of expansion. Article also contains few references or external links that explain the importance or notability of this film.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. magnius (talk) 15:21, 17 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image (File:Kadhalikka1.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading File:Kadhalikka1.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. FileBot (talk) 23:11, 21 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

You are now a Reviewer edit

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 01:17, 18 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Image source problem with File:Deadwood Title.jpg edit

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Deadwood Title.jpg.

This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F4 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 13:24, 30 July 2023 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. mattbr 13:24, 30 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
