Lucas on cost of recession

Nice article. I've added a little bit on the equity premium, will expand if I get time.JQ (talk) 21:05, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Appeal

Thanks for your note. I don't have any issue with you mentioning me. Good luck with your appeal. It does seem unfair that you would be sanctioned before you were given warning. — Malik Shabazz (talk · contribs) 04:37, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

Expulsion of Germans / Warsaw

An RfC has opened about this issue at Talk:Expulsion of Germans after World War II#RfC: Nazi atrocities in Warsaw. Skäpperöd (talk) 05:41, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Herzog speech

Here is the text-[1]--Woogie10w (talk) 14:41, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

I read the speech, there is nothing in the text concerning the Expulsion of the Germans after WW2. --Woogie10w (talk) 15:11, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I'm struggling through it in German and I'm not seeing it. Perhaps the source I gave was referring to a different speech of Herzog's (he gave a few related ones)?radek (talk) 15:15, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
He would never ever mention the expulsions in Warsaw, that would only anger the Poles. Think, man. Try harder, I bet there is a reliable scholarly Polish source on public opinion in 1945-46, a sociological study that mentions the fact that Germans were persona non grata because of the war. I don't read Polish, I am busy learning Korean--Woogie10w (talk) 17:26, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
You're right that in that particular speech he probably wouldn't. But the source does note the two together. I'll look through the Polish sourcesradek (talk) 17:33, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Talk:Kołobrzeg

I commented there and urge you to reconsider. Skäpperöd (talk) 16:53, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

I've commented back and I don't see where you get the idea that a town's website cannot be used. It's certainly not on RSN as you suggest.radek (talk) 16:55, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

AE

Since you stick to your accusations of disruption and forum shopping, I filed WP:AE#Radeksz. Skäpperöd (talk) 12:59, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

I moved your comment

Here. I think you meant it to put it there? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 16:17, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

That's fine - it does fit better where you put it.radek (talk) 16:19, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Your Dog

Czesc, might I recommend getting a Pit Bull as a replacement. I appreciate your contributions to the Poland related articles, keep up the good work. Regards--Woogie10w (talk) 12:50, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

I'm more of a St. Bernard kind of guy. I like to help rather than bite. But St. Bernards can take care of themselves too.radek (talk) 21:40, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

On DYKs

Mszczuj from Skrzynno can be destubbed and submitted to DYK as it is (not that some expansion wouldn't be nice). Conrad Letzkau is DYKable now. Please do nominate your own articles - I know that waiting for others to recognize your work is nice, but in practice it means waiting for me to do one more thing on Wiki :) --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 21:32, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

from Skäpperöd

I very much appreciate that you removed the "disruptive". I can't help your ABF in that case, but I just wanted to have said that. You don't need to answer. Skäpperöd (talk) 10:55, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

Welfare cost of business cycles

Hi Radeksz-- I suggested renaming Lucas Welfare Cost of Fluctuations as Welfare cost of business cycles, which would be a page on the general concept, and would include Lucas' proposed measure as a prominent section. The reason for my suggestion is that 'Welfare cost of business cycles' is a more standard term (also 'business cycles' is less ambiguous than 'fluctuations'), and while Lucas proposed a very important quantitative measure he is not the only one to have analyzed the issue.

I have only heard one opinion so far, from user Wik-e-wik, who appears to agree with my suggestion. Please see Talk:Lucas Welfare Cost of Fluctuations. What do you think? --Rinconsoleao (talk) 13:18, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

Re: Same question, asked again

See if you can contact the author of the article and ask about the illustrations. They look old, and it this cases we often tag them PD-art/PD-old by default, but... freak accidents happen. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 19:20, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

Toszek

Please just check my changes. I've just removed errors such as "The Piasts had been established as dukes by the emperors Otto.", removed repeted fragmnents and so on. I am still not sure how did Habsburgs gain the town in 1300s. It became vasal of Luxemburgs in the 1300s and came under Habsburgs in 1526. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.253.71.5 (talk) 08:11, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
