Orphaned non-free image (Image:Logo black BG copy.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Logo black BG copy.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 05:58, 4 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Notability of Bismarc edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Bismarc, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Bismarc seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Bismarc, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 10:40, 9 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

I've seen your hangon tag, but it didn't address the problem outlined above, namely why an article about this student organization should be included in an encyclopedia.--Tikiwont (talk) 12:51, 9 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Bristle Coir edit

I see from the edit summary that you have asked how to add pictures. If you want to upload your own pictures then you can either upload them here or at Wikimedia Commons. The preference is always Commons as it makes your picture available to all the Wikimedia projects. To upload an image click on the link in the sidebar labelled "upload file" and follow the instructions. Be sure to choose the right license and provide all the information requested, otherwise the picture may be deleted later. Once you've uploaded the picture you can include it in your article by adding [[File:your_picture_name.jpg|thumb|right|your caption]] to the page, replacing "your_picture_name.jpg" with the actual file name you used when uploading the picture. Good luck! QU TalkQu 18:22, 12 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

The article Tamil Nadu Technology Development and Promotion Centre has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I cannot find evidence of significant, in depth coverage to meet WP:ORG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. StarM 18:24, 19 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
