Notice of Conflict of interest noticeboard discussion edit

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard regarding a possible conflict of interest incident with which you may be involved. Thank you. — Trey Maturin 08:54, 29 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

I work for ICAR-IASRI and I find it unbearably annoying that some random Trey Maturin is constantly reverting my changes. Please do not edit my changes, the same has been approved by ICAR-IASRI. Vjgautam09 (talk) 11:11, 29 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for declaring that you are a paid editor. Please make sure you comply with relevant Wikipedia policies, including but not limited to WP:Conflict of interest—which explains why a "random" editor essentially has more say in the ICAR-IASRI article than an employee does. —C.Fred (talk) 11:13, 29 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Please do not confuse me with your jargons, and overly complicated Terms and Conditions. Tell me in simple words, what do I need to do, to retain my content?
The director of the institute wants me to update the content. Vjgautam09 (talk) 11:54, 29 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
The Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute, nor any of its staff, has any right of ownership or control over the content of the article about it. Any Wikipedia editor can edit any article, at any time. You cannot insist that it remain at a version that you prefer. Since you are being ordered by one of your superiors to edit this article, you and they should review Wikipedia:When your boss tells you to edit Wikipedia.
It is an inherent conflict of interest for you to edit the article about the institute. Please limit your involvement to making edit requests on the article talk page (Talk:Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute) that can be reviewed by neutral editors. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 19:38, 29 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Tell me in simple words, what do I need to do, to retain my content? In simple words? You can't.
In more complex words, you can request the edit at Talk:Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute, but the edit can only be made by editors with no connection to IASRI. So, you have to get other editors to agree that the changes are an improvement. —C.Fred (talk) 02:33, 30 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
