Amiga demos category change edit

Hey there.. I noticed you moved Amiga demos from Category:Demoscene to Category:Demos. This sort of makes sense, but then it sets a precedent. If you move that, you should move Apple II gs demos, Atari demos, Commodore 64 demos, Text mode demos, and ZX Spectrum demos as well. Do we want to do that? I'm not sure. Adding terms to a category that has just titles in it now would start to blur the line between the Demos and Demoscene categories. Then, which one would we put demo effects in? --Vossanova 19:14, 27 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yep, I noticed too that the platform-specific "demos" articles were no longer in the same category but didn't realize the problem of blurring the line. Perhaps Category:Demos would make more sense if there was a subcategory Category:Amiga demos with Amiga demos as its main article. But since we don't have such a hierarchy, I decided to move the article back to Category:Demoscene. Viznut 20:43, 27 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
OK. And yes, if we had categories like PC Demos, Amiga Demos, or even Demo Titles, it might be more clear, but it's probably safest to leave it like it is for now. I fixed your category links, BTW. :) --Vossanova 20:49, 27 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

PanTheist... perhaps also PanDeist? edit

Friend, I see that you class yourself as a PanTheist - might you also be a PanDeist? I have just begun speak on such things at length on my MySpace blog [1].

Impulse Tracker edit

Hello, I'd like to discuss the section on IT clones in this article. I removed it originally because the information is not verified through reliable, third-party sources, and just seemed to be an excuse for people to list their homebrew trackers. Do you think you can address this issue? Marasmusine (talk) 15:12, 5 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Although you asked of me "next time, please discuss first", you haven't replied to my proposed application of our WP:Verifiability policy. Therefore I will remove the problematic sections again. Marasmusine (talk) 11:09, 20 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
