November 2008 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Sri Chinmoy has been reverted. Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\bwordpress\.com' (link(s): http://martindoyle.wordpress.com/2008/05/27/martin-doyle-sri-chinmoy-royal-albert/) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! April 2011 edit

Level 1 Warning

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please be aware of Wikipedia's policy that biographical information about living persons must not include unsupported or inaccurate statements. Whenever you add possibly controversial statements about a living person to an article or any other Wikipedia page, you must include proper sources. If you don't know how to cite a source, you may want to read Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners for guidelines. Thank you. --Ald™ ¬_¬™ 13:46, 24 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Level 2 Warning

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.

Reliable sources edit

Here I removed a link to Yahoo groups. This is not a reliable source, becuase its a Yahoo group. Reliable sources are things like newspapers, books, journals, published sources and those kinds of things. See WP:RS for details. You'll see that I improved the controversy section for Sri Chinmoy (Jayanti Tamm's book, for example was a page that I made [1]). We just have to bring in quality content and that way it will stay instead of being removed. You can search online in news sources and journals and so on. Most likely news sources are the sources that will be helpful for us regarding Sri Chinmoy. --Demetrioscz (talk) 19:59, 6 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Sorry I'm not able to do any additional work due to lack of time etc. --Demetrioscz (talk) 02:24, 10 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

I've reverted your edit here. The line which you added, is that supported by any sources? If you're editing this website and if you had to know one thing, this would be it:

  • Everything added on this site must be sourced with a reliable source: WP:RS.

Please explain your edit. I will be waiting for you to explain your edit. --Demetrioscz (talk) 15:33, 18 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

November 2012 edit

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Sri Chinmoy, but that you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Jim1138 (talk) 22:20, 13 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

You need to cite a reliable source. If he has not been convicted, it probably should not go in the article per WP:BLPCRIME Jim1138 (talk) 18:32, 14 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Final warning edit

You've been reverted and warned a number of times about your use of blogs etc in Sri Chinmoy's article. Continue to ignore them and you will probably be blocked as WP:NOTHERE. Doug Weller talk 10:21, 20 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

August 2018 edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Sri Chinmoy. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
Vivvvvek, you're an anti-Chinmoy WP:SPA and have been warned numerous times to stop this behavior. If you continue, you are liable to be indefinitely blocked. Softlavender (talk) 05:07, 1 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
