May 2019 edit

Hello, I'm Chiswick Chap. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Nath seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. I saw your edit, which was from a factual point of view mistaken, and not following the reliably cited source. Equally important is that the edit makes it appear that your editing is not neutral, which is a serious matter. You must leave your personal feelings and viewpoints at home when you edit here on Wikipedia so that readers can rely on its accurate, neutral coverage. Chiswick Chap (talk) 08:15, 31 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

You are continuing to make edits which state your personal viewpoint, unsupported by reliable sources, indeed by source documents of any kind. Wikipedia is built entirely from its sources, so it is essential that you understand that adding anything without using sources is unacceptable. Chiswick Chap (talk) 17:53, 1 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. [1] MrOllie (talk) 11:19, 1 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. MrOllie (talk) 13:27, 1 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link, as you did at Employment website. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. DS-alert edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sawai Gandharva, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Marathi. Hi
Could you please share any reference link regarding that the report was sent to an amature archiologist? Vivekanand.kubal (talk) 05:15, 30 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
Also the way wording are of 'According to Asko Parpola' and 'indication of early' are leading to conclusion instead telling reader that it is just a theory of this historian. Vivekanand.kubal (talk) 05:23, 30 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
