Eddie Harrison edit

The article Eddie Harrison has been or soon will be deleted from Wikipedia. This happened because the article seems to be about a subject but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You might also want to read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. -- Merope 18:00, 17 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

The above is a templated all-purpose message. In reading the article again, I can safely state that there is almost no possibility that this article merits inclusion. The artist in question has been performing less than a year, and his biggest live venue has been a Starbucks. He has yet to release even a single, let alone a full album. To meet our standards, most musicians need to release at least two albums via a notable record label. You can read our guidelines for determining the notability of musicians at WP:MUSIC. If I'm wrong, and Mr Harrison does, in fact, meet our standards, you'll have to provide evidence of it from reliable sources. (I'll tell you right now: MySpace doesn't count.) If you disagree with the deletion, and think you can provide evidence of Mr Harrison's notability, you can request a deletion review. -- Merope 18:24, 17 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
