When adding links to material on an external site, as you did to Golden State Warriors, please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website has licensed the work. Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. This is particularly relevant when linking to sites such as YouTube, where due care should be taken to avoid linking to material that violates its creator's copyright. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you believe the linked site is not violating copyright with respect to the material, then you should do one of the following:

• If the linked site is the copyright holder, leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page;
• If a note on the linked site credibly claims permission to host the material, or a note on the copyright holder's site grants such permission, leave a note on the article Talk page with a link to where we can find that note;
• If you are the copyright holder or the external site administrator, adjust the linked site to indicate permission as above and leave a note on the article Talk page;

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. I am still uncertain as to why my external link was removed

Can you please tell me why my addition to the external links was removed and what I can do to legally add the link I have been trying to add. I would like to follow the rules but I would also like the same rights to exists that the other blogs have seemed to have been granted but I for some reason unexplained to me have been denied. See above. WP:EL is quite clear that links to just anyone's blog are not permissible (otherwise we'd have tons of blogs in those sections, and we're an encylopedia, not a blog directory). The other blogs are allowed because they're affiliated with sports channels. And how do we know for certain you're a season ticket holder? See, we can't ... therefore, unless your blog becomes notable in and of itself (i.e., sportswriters at reliable sources quote it, and/or you break big, important stories about the team that are themselves picked up by mainstream media, then we might be able to include it.

By going to me from this account after I blocked an anon IP you seem to have been using, you have tacitly admitted to sockpuppetry, a blockable offense. I would strongly suggest that you reconsider, and find other ways to exercise your interest in the Warriors on Wikipedia. Thank you for taking time I really appreciate that as I felt railroaded. I am sorry about the anonymous IP i went from work where I was logged in to home where I had yet logged in. I did not intend to violate any rules it was my mistake for not logging in. I can supply proof that I am a season ticket holder if you like. If you looked at my site I did an article on the opening of my tickets etc. I will gladly do anything else you require of me. I plan to write articles from the perspective of a season ticket holder with orginal pictures and videos documenting the season. I think this is very pertinent information to the subject matter. I understand your intention to wait until I get more exposure before allowing me to link. If that is the case I will continue to try and build a reputation until I meet your requirements.
