I would agree with that. Your user page is visible to just about anyone on the internet, so you should be judicious about what information you give out. Primefac (talk) 15:33, 22 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Vista Valkyrie, stop. We don't know who you are. We don't know who that address belongs to. We don't know whether you are a minor. This is your last warning to desist. There will not be another. Thanks and good luck. El_C 16:59, 22 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Indefinite block edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for disruptive editing.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Request reason:

I won't put that info in my profile again, and I guess I was stubborn for continuing to re-add it. I'll follow people's advice from now on. Vista Valkyrie (talk) 18:36, 22 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I'll admit that I can't figure out which one you are, but you're obviously a sock of someone. People don't start trolling from a VPN on their very first account. At least give me a hint. Cow Cleaner 5000, maybe? NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 01:03, 23 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I am not a sock of anyone, and I have never heard the name Cow Cleaner 5000 before. I am currently using my parents' computer to edit Wikipedia, and I think they have a VPN enabled on it for some reason. I am not intending to troll in any way either and like I said, I will follow other people's advice from now on. Is there anything else I need to do to be unblocked? I think I have addressed the reason I was blocked. Vista Valkyrie (talk) 02:09, 23 December 2020 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Nope. Yamla (talk) 12:53, 30 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Just wondering, how long will it take before a decision is made on this block request? I do realize this is a busy time of year for a lot of people but I was just curious. Thanks! Vista Valkyrie (talk) 23:58, 24 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Who knows how long before a decision is made, Vista Valkyrie? The decision will not be in your favor, but it will benefit both you and Wikipedia by keeping the two of you apart, so stop holding your breath. Thus far, you have annoyed several senior editors by wasting their time frivolously, and wasted your own time as well. Your first waste of time comes from the fact that Wikipedia is not social media, which is how you have treated it in some instances. The second reason you are wasting your time is that you think you are competent to copyedit articles for syntax and punctuation. This is a false assumption. Your copyedits have all been reverted, with one or two exceptions. When your edit does not improve how the article reads and is understood, but only matches the way you write or think you should write, it is a bad edit and gets reverted with a couple of clicks, or manually in some cases (which I hate having to do.)
Your behavior shows us that you're incapable or unwilling to cooperate in a team environment, which is what Wikipedia is: a massive international project. In fact, I assume by your attitude that you are (Redacted). You may be unblocked eventually, but you can expect, at best, the Standard offer: understand what you have done in the context of Wikipedia and how it differs from what you ought to have done; stating plans for your future editing intentions and, if it has been 6 months since your block, you will perhaps be let back in. Do note that, in egregious cases, you may be told to stay away, blocked, for a year or more, until you "grow up".
In the meantime, if you do intend to toil in anonymity to improve Wikipedia, I'm going to put some helpful links to vital policies, rules and suggestions around Wikipedia editing right on this page, below this post. Good luck in reading and understanding them and everything they link to. Should be a nice long read, one hour per night for 6 months, until you (hopefully) get unblocked.--Quisqualis (talk) 01:18, 25 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
Quisqualis, please don't make assumptions like that; and if you do, please don't post your speculations here. Primefac (talk) 20:20, 25 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
