January 2019 edit

Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, and genre changes to suit your own point of view; as you did to Runnin' (Lose It All), Love on the Brain, Everything Is Love, and More Only. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 14:27, 7 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres or content without discussion or sources to suit your own point of view, as you did at Apeshit, you may be blocked from editing. Dan56 (talk) 14:32, 7 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at Umbrella (song) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Block appeal edit

Request reason:

Been accused of being a sock of MariaJaydHicky, but I am not her, she lives in the U.K. and I live in Tenerife.VisionofCaution (talk)

Decline reason:

It isn't difficult for someone intent on doing so to make their IP address appear to be from somewhere else or to just claim to be from somewhere else. You will have to better explain this. 331dot (talk) 22:30, 7 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

331dot got any ideas I could promise to not do if I get unblocked please? VisionofCaution (talk) 22:35, 7 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
I can't tell you what you need to promise not to do. You need to do that yourself. 331dot (talk) 23:12, 7 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
331dot here's the thing; I'm not a sock puppetry at all. VisionofCaution (talk) 07:57, 8 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
If that's true, then you will have to address why others think you are in another unblock request, which will be reviewed by another administrator. I have nothing else to add. 331dot (talk) 10:13, 8 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
