Voltage controlled oscillator

Introduction:-

Defination of oscillator:-It is a type of circuit which gives output as different forms of pure wave shapes
                                          which can be sinusoidal,triangular,square etc.

Voltage controlled oscillator:-

defination:-A voltage controlled oscillator is a circuit which gives varying frequency output signal that are typically
square wave or triangular wave signal and their frequency can be adjusted over a fixed required range by
                     a dc voltage.
*example:-

566IC- It produces the output in both the form as triangular wave as well as square wave signal,

it's frequency is set by external resistor and capacitor and adjusted in desired range
       by dc voltage.
