BRD notice on Red Screen of Death

Hi.

I thought I'd be more appropriate to drop you a line about your edit #582251313 in Red Screen of Death. Your edit summary reads: 'not even a mention on the BSOD article it was "merged" to.' Well, I can see the mentions. (Yes, there are two.) I can also see that there has been two past merge discussions (well, one and a half really) about merging and that the reasons supplied (i.e. lack of notability and extensive need for sources) are valid.

I think the merge was appropriate. What else can I say?

Best regards,
Codename Lisa (talk) 03:54, 19 November 2013 (UTC)

Hi. First, sorry for all these duplicate messages.
I understand what you mean but what can we do? The source and the notability are both serious issues. Now, I generally find Wikipedians to be very truthful but if I say I had never found a single statements that is inconsistent with the truth in the most surprising places, I'd have lied. I don't know who wrote that article but I only hope his contributions weren't facts mixed with his imagination. While I adore assumption of good faith, I also love sources.
Best regards,
