February 2013 edit

Sorry. It was my mistake. I understood wrong.--Pratyya (Hello!) 03:47, 21 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Capella (star) edit

Hi, in Capella (star) you changed an orbital period from 400 to 400,000 years, It is apparent that you did not consult the reference. You assumed it was talking about the orbit of the 10000 AU distant pair around the other pair, but it was actually talking about the orbital period of the two M stars around each other. These are components H & L. If you do spot strange things it may be because the article is unclear rather than a numeric error. SO the talk page is a good place to go if you don't want to consult the references. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 11:17, 9 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

In regards to your reversion of my reversion edit

Because Malaysia is an English speaking market (or at least the show is airing there in English, I believe). Also, where's your source stating that Japan is a more important market for Hasbro? Without it, that's pretty much the exact definition of giving special treatment to one language dub (not to mention original research, if I'm reading that policy right; I remember seeing on the archive 5 for the FiM talkpage that someone suggested that all the international, non-English broadcasts be listed underneath the English broadcasts, where there are reliable sources, and I would be ok with that). Also, it's probably fine to list the season two start date for Japan, though all the other season two start dates for the other language dubs should probably also be listed, in order to be fair to them and to maintain neutrality. Or perhaps it should be gotten rid of without a reliable source; I'm fine either way on that.--Jonny Manz (talk) 22:23, 28 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

About broadcasting in Japan. edit

I'm sorry it has taken me a while to get around to replying. To start with I never said that Japan is a more important market just that it is an important market. If I had said it was a more important one then yes, that would require a source. I agree that a decision should be made in regards to which broadcasts should and should not be listed and I think that that ought to be based on verifiability as you said. If you reply and I don't get around to it for a while that is because I'm in the process of moving to a different country and can't always access the internet until I re-establish myself. Thank you for your patience on this matter.--Violettsureme (talk) 21:09, 29 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Ah, ok, I suppose I misread your edit summary. As for which ones are listed, I think any with a reliable source should be. And don't worry, I'm a patient guy (and busy myself, as the lateness of this message can attest to, haha). But I'll go ahead and remove the season two start date, as that column is only about the debut of the show in that language, and none of the other dubs have the season two start date listed (I figure it's better to, instead of adding lots of dates without reliable sources to maintain consistency, to instead remove the one that doesn't belong).--Jonny Manz (talk) 04:57, 2 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
