Wikipedia is not for writing about yourself

Welcome to Wikipedia, but it is not a place like Facebook or LinkedIn for people to write about themselves. It is a quite different sort of site, a project to build an encyclopedia, so it is selective about subjects for articles, and writing about oneself is strongly discouraged, for reasons explained at Wikipedia is not about YOU and Wikipedia:Autobiography.

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you create an inappropriate page, as you did at Vimalraj swaminathan. You may well have come to Wikipedia honestly thinking that posting a page about yourself would be acceptable, but you knew that it wasn't by the time you had twice had the article deleted, and had received messages telling you that articles about people of no notability are not suitable and that Wikipedia is not for writing about yourself, yet you went ahead and created the article a third time. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 09:56, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
