Hi, @Drmies. Apparently, revision delete has been applied, which means that there is an unacceptable editing. I can't believe I didn't catch this. In the future, I have to be more careful. Thank you for the notice. --Victor Trevor (talk) 18:22, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
Yes, I scrubbed it, and some others in the history as well. Thanks for your cooperation! Drmies (talk) 18:26, 1 February 2022 (UTC)

Elevations RTC

Hi Victor Trevor, there seems to be a vandaliser on the Elevations RTC page. HiRachel420 is including information that is either not sourced at all or does not match up with the cited articles whatsoever. There is a Bain Capital that is associated with CRC Healthcare, which owned Island View at one point. Per the article cited, Paris Hilton's husband Carter Reum spoke with someone from Bain Innovation Exchange, which is not Bain Capital and also does not match up with the writing in the Wikipedia article. It is also irrelevant information as it has nothing to do with Elevations RTC F/K/A Island View RTC. Farr4h2004 (talk) 20:48, 2 February 2022 (UTC)

Hi, @Farr4h2004. Probably it is. I'm sorry I couldn't take better care of it. --Victor Trevor (talk) 21:23, 2 February 2022 (UTC)

Gyaru article

Hello Victor Trevor,

The information that was added is indeed correct but the information that was omitted is indeed incorrect. It seems that before it might of had a connection with the article but presently it seems that the citation has omitted said information or was a mistake. Sorry for the inconvenance. Thank you for checking, have a nice day. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.99.169.177 (talkcontribs)

List of emerging technologies arcticle

Hi Trevor, my name is Alan . the reason why I made some changes to list the article "list of emerging technologies" is that some entries in some of sections were based on misinformation and pseudoscience. thats it. I was making sure that every bit information was not fake and has substantial evidence. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 49.36.192.45 (talkcontribs)

Hi. Please see here. Verifiability is important. --Victor Trevor (talk) 10:43, 9 February 2022 (UTC)

Are you ok?

I didn’t remove anything on Aly and AJ’d discography page, I simply linked to an existing page for one of their songs. Do you actually look at what was done before blindly reverting anything you see without an edit explanation? Just bc an edit doesn’t have an explanation, that doesn’t automatically make it a bad or wrongful edit. Please stop blindly reverting something for no good reason. 2601:48:8100:B6A0:A161:684:CAAE:CA7A (talk) 14:19, 10 February 2022 (UTC)

Hi. I am sorry. It was an accident. --Victor Trevor (talk) 14:24, 10 February 2022 (UTC)

Again, please thoroughly check before reverting something to see if it’s a factual edit or not. Edit explanations have no bearing on whether or not the edit was factual. 2601:48:8100:B6A0:A161:684:CAAE:CA7A (talk) 14:27, 10 February 2022 (UTC)

Cambodian Premier League page undo

Hi Victor, I noticed you undid my expansion for the championship/runners-up table. I'm not entirely sure why it had to be reverted back to the old version. I'm simply adding a table that shows how many runners-up season each team had and what seasons they were. This is similar to what the J-League (Japan) page has. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.175.118.96 (talk) 19:38, 10 February 2022 (UTC)

Hi. I look it again, and found the line, which caused was to undo: ===Most successful clubs== I think that words, such as "success", violating the NPOV policy. --Victor Trevor (talk) 19:49, 10 February 2022 (UTC)

Thank you for the specification. I'll not use that term when expanding the table. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.175.118.96 (talk) 19:53, 10 February 2022 (UTC)

Are you a clown or just havent reached your majority yet? It seems you are on a revert spree not even knowing what you are reverting or even why. Slow down and mature some before reverting others constructive edits. Maybe a dictionary and thesaurus would aid you in your desire to learn the English language. Have a blessed day. 2600:1700:7610:41E0:2D4F:8E49:7D1F:D851 (talk) 15:23, 16 February 2022 (UTC). It would also appear you are creating other editors talk pages making false claims and accusations and then when called out on it, you delete the page and comments/claims and label it all an "accident" Stop and slow down. Maybe you should revert no edits whatsoever and stick to spelling corrections until you have matured adequetely. 2600:1700:7610:41E0:2D4F:8E49:7D1F:D851 (talk) 15:32, 16 February 2022 (UTC).

Hi. I see, and probably can't be able to go beyond saying, "I'm sorry," and it is not going to be enough. However, I will be careful in my edits. Thank you for your attention. --Victor Trevor (talk) 16:11, 16 February 2022 (UTC)

Advice

I noticed that your user page says, "I make edit in here because I was blocked indefinitely from the Turkish Wikipedia". I do not want to see the same thing happen to you here, so please be very careful with your editing. I appreciate your apology for what you did with my edits in the article I was in process of doing a major cleanup on, but after that you re-posted a welcome message on my talk page even though you saw I removed the original one. Doing things like these will make other editors very unhappy. Please be helpful, not hurtful. 2605:A000:FFC0:D8:FDF2:3EB5:8751:7A62 (talk) 17:29, 16 February 2022 (UTC)

Hi. I made a lot of mistakes today, and can imagine about how the users affected by my mistakes feel like... annoying. I don't like that and I'm going to do my best not to be a part of it. I'm sorry for the duplicate message, I forgot I sent it earlier. Thank you for being constructive. --Victor Trevor (talk) 17:42, 16 February 2022 (UTC)

Hi

Hi! Rather than playing around with the O'Sullivan article, leaving a quick note here. Snooker (as do many sports) have a ranking list based on prior performances in suitable tournaments. See our articles on snooker world rankings (and more specifically Snooker world rankings 2021/2022). Being world number one (and even further, being higher in the rankings) gets a player better seedings, such as byes to later rounds of the tournament. It's not a point of view that someone has this rank, it is an official world ranking list, the same as they have for things like tennis, national football teams and golf. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 15:28, 4 April 2022 (UTC)

Hi, @Lee Vilenski. Thank you for the note. I didn't know that he were the world champion in 2021 or 2022. The sentence seemed to me that really violating the NPOV policy. I've revert my edit back, though. The "2022 World Champion" could be better. --Victor Trevor (talk) 15:38, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
He isn't the 2022 World Champion though, so that's why it doesn't say that. He is the world number one. See the official world rankings list. The rest of the article does go into depths about all of the events that he has won, including the world title on six occasions (the last time in 2020), but this isn't an opinion that he is the world number one, he is the highest ranked player in the world. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 15:43, 4 April 2022 (UTC)

Siraj-ud-Din Ali Khan Arzu

Hello, in the the Siraj-ud-Din Ali Khan Arzu page, you flagged my edit as not representing a neutral viewpoint. However, the text about the book in question had a "clarification needed" and was in fact incorrect (the book is not a translation). I corrected this and added a citation to a reputable academic source so I'm confused by why you've flagged it as not being neutral. Would you please revert my edit? — Preceding unsigned comment added by WikiPerson2115 (talkcontribs) 17:16, 10 April 2022 (UTC)

Hi, @WikiPerson2115. The part of violating the NPOV policy is coming from "he was an important early teacher of Urdu poetry" (emphasis added). The sentence should contain the "according to X or Y". --Victor Trevor (talk) 18:23, 10 April 2022 (UTC)

Terrorism

Hi Victor,

Apologies I couldn't work out how to reply to your edit. Dessie Grew was responsible for the shooting dead of a 6 month baby,

Nivruti Mahesh Islania, in my country. The UN definition of terrorism is: "“the use or threat [of action] designed to influence the government or to intimidate the public or a section of the public, and the use or threat is made for the purposes of advancing a political, religious or ideological cause." There can be no denial that his actions were intent on changing political course. To say otherwise is a falsehood and as you say Wiki should produce truth. He was not a freedom fighter - nor a volunteer - he was a murderer and a terrorist 66 Raketenpanzerbüchse (talk) 11:12, 17 April 2022 (UTC)

Hi, @66 Raketenpanzerbüchse.
Thanks for the message. First off, I'd like to explain that Wikipedia doesn't have to say the truth. In other words, it just a reflection of sources. Terrorism is a highly-controversial term, and it was stated on Wikipedia's list of words to avoid page that it should be used with cautiousness. However, there is many policies in here, including the WP:BATTLEGROUND and WP:POINT. On the article, the information you mentioned does not exist and that claims must be supported with reliable and independent sources. Also, please see here. Thank you. --Victor Trevor (talk) 12:31, 17 April 2022 (UTC)
Hi Victor,
A simple google of the term of the babies name reveals plenty of sources: https://apnews.com/article/c32d6adcb5a4e76bc1f7ed3126fa1fe2
Is it possible to source these articles. I've purposely not chosen British/Irish media sources as they are, in the main, anti-IRA.
Is a member of ISIS a terrorist or a volunteer? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osama_bin_Laden. Osama Bin laden is described as a terrorist by wikipedia, rightfully, but many in the world would see him as a freedom fighter - a volunteer. OBL never served trial to be described as such.
So why are we describing a known terrorist, who was implicated in multiple murders, as a volunteer? Can this be explained as the construct is confusing for me. Are we saying that the murder of a 6 month old baby is lawful and righteous? 66 Raketenpanzerbüchse (talk) 12:39, 17 April 2022 (UTC)
In the interest of balance as well - all Loyalist terrorists should be described as such as well. The killing of civilians is a criminal, if not terrorist, offence. Why is Wiki hiding behind caveats. The IRA/UDA are identified as international terrorist organisations by multiple govt bodies. Why are we calling them volunteers/loyalists. 66 Raketenpanzerbüchse (talk) 12:45, 17 April 2022 (UTC)
Hi again, @66 Raketenpanzerbüchse. It will be appropriate to discuss the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. --Victor Trevor (talk) 12:52, 17 April 2022 (UTC)

My modification to "Friedrich Melchior Baron von Grimm" (date of birth)

Hi Victor, no, this was'nt a test. Instead, I tried to make a modification as the real birth date of Grimm is 26 September 1723. You find it also in Ulla Kölving, « Introduction générale », in idem (ed.), Friedrich Melchior Grimm. Correspondance littéraire. Tome 1. 1753-1754, Ferney-Voltaire, Centre International d’Étude du xviiie siècle, 2006, pp. XXI-LXXII, here p. XXI. As I researched recently in the baptism registres, 26 september is also the baptism date. Here is the reference: Landeskirchliches Archiv der Evang.-Luth. Kirche, Dekanat Regensburg, Regensburg-Gesamtgemeinde, Taufen 1713-1732. The birth date "26 December" which is also documented in the French WP and unfortunately also in Wikidata is definitely wrong and outdated; the German WP has for a long time "25 September", referring to "Neue Deutsche Biographie" from the 1960s, meanwhile English and French WPs seem to refer to "Allgemeine Deutsche Biographie" dating from the 19th century. I therefore would be grateful if you validate my modification and/or check the evidence I mentioned. And of course I made modifications to the German and the French WP, too, and hope they also will be accepted. Best, Markus Markus Markus Meumann (talk) 15:18, 29 June 2022 (UTC)

Excuse Me

@Victor Trevor: I didn’t understand what did you inform me in my talk page. Could you explain it clearly? Did I forget to add or change content without citing a reliable source as I did at Mugamoodi? 2001:8F8:1825:AE54:10A:FEF6:6AD9:F78E (talk) 17:50, 4 August 2022 (UTC)

Hello. This is not a kind of source-providing problem. The content added by you was copied from a licensed website without any permission, which is completely unacceptable. For more information about the topic, you may want to look at this page as well as a message (that you've removed) on your talk page. --Victor Trevor (talk) 19:28, 4 August 2022 (UTC)

Kelli Underwood

I see that you requested page protection for this article. However, as I see it, one IP editor made this fairly egregiously non-WP:NPOV edit which was not picked up, and then another IP editor made a string of successive edits adding WP:UNDUE and WP:RECENTISM content (sourced predominantly to the deprecated WP:DAILYMAIL.) which were reverted by CTL24. Since then, you and that editor have continued to revert one another without discussing on the talk page. Can you please explain further or clarify? Thanks Melcous (talk) 13:09, 9 August 2022 (UTC)

Hello, @Melcous. Thanks for letting me know. I have been focused on removed content and thought that is a typical-deleting issue on the pages. I've missed that part, which is an NPOV problem. Now I will delete all warnings and apologies for my fault. FYI, @Glen. --Victor Trevor (talk) 13:16, 9 August 2022 (UTC)
No worries, happens to all of us, and it is probably (sadly) somewhat uncommon for a new editor to be being helpful rather than not! Cheers Melcous (talk) 13:23, 9 August 2022 (UTC)

User CTL24

Just an FYI I think that user may've been trying to be helpful. Their removal included vandalism, specifically "She is known for calling the GWS Giants, The orange Team as well as being the worst AFL commentator known on this earth.". I've protected the page for two days all the same as multiple IPs adding nonsense. Thanks. Glen (talk) 13:09, 9 August 2022 (UTC)

Thanks Glen, as I attempted to note above, I think something has gone awry here as the multiple edits that were reverted were also in my view appropriate. Melcous (talk) 13:11, 9 August 2022 (UTC)
Melcous, just saw your note too. Agree with your comments. I protected the page mainly due to the IPs this and this (also this but older) however looking at the history may've been premature. Happy to unprotect if you disagree. Thanks Glen (talk) 13:14, 9 August 2022 (UTC)
No worries Glen, I don't think the TPP hurts given the initial issue was IP vandalism. Cheers, Melcous (talk) 13:24, 9 August 2022 (UTC)

Your protection requests

Hi, I've declined your requests to protect Uri Geller and U2, simply because there isn't anywhere near enough recent activity to justify protection. As a general rule of thumb, for a legitimate protection I would expect the history to contain multiple inappropriate edits from a variety of new users and IPs, easily filling up the history for the last 24-48 hours. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 22:50, 11 August 2022 (UTC)

Hello, @Ritchie333. I appreciate your message. I thought it would be a good reason to protect the pages, considering the problem of spreading over time. In the coming days, I should have to read the protection policy entirely. Cheers! --Victor Trevor (talk) 23:15, 11 August 2022 (UTC)

CZ Biohub Organization draft

Hello! I'm an employee at GMMB, a communications firm that works with the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub. I've been requesting edits to the Biohub page over the past couple months, trying to expand and update the information on the page. Due to my COI, I have to defer to the judgment of independent editors and unfortunately have hit a snag in trying to find someone to review a proposed Organization section that combines some parts of the page's existing History section with information about the Biohub's structure, how it operates, and the types of research projects it pursues.

I saw that you've contributed quite a bit to the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative page and was wondering if you would be interested in taking a look at what I've put together for the Biohub. You can view the Organization edit request here and the full text of my draft for that section using this link. If you don't have want to review, that's totally fine. But given your edit history I thought I'd at least give it a shot. Thanks for your time, and I hope we'll talk again soon. Patricia at GMMB (talk) 19:51, 19 September 2022 (UTC)
