Transcripts

All the transcripts of the Woolwich rant are inaccurate, except one, which is on a blog.

The transcripts all appear to have been copied from a single source (except the blog). They all contain the same errors.

The least significant error is the correction of "a eye" to "an eye". The highly significant error is the transcribing of "Peace be on Muhammad" to "Peace be on you". This indicates that the person who made the transcription was both unfamiliar with Islamic custom, and was not really listening at that point, but merely writing down what they imagined a "religious" person might say.

This is an instance where we need to go with the primary source rather than a very inaccurate media source.

Disambiguation link notification for June 8

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Muslim attitudes towards terrorism, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Gallup and Zogby (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
