Basking shark image edit

If you are the copyright holder of the image in question, you can upload it using this form. If it is not your own photo, but the copyright holder has agreed to release it under a free license compatible with Wikipedia, this form should be used. If it has not been released under a free license, an image can only be uploaded in exceptional circumstances if it meets the non-free content criteria. If you have any questions please feel free to message me or ask the folks over at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. mgiganteus1 (talk) 13:05, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Gustave and sourcing edit

Hi VicLin,

I agree with your edit to Lolong and with the first edit you made to Gustave, but there was a problem with your subsequent edits to Gustave. I'm not sure where you got your information about Gustave being only 30 years old, but after your edits ([1]) it appeared as though the 2004 National Geographic article was the source of that figure. It's crucial that figures used in Wikipedia really do match the cited sources, and whenever you change a figure, you need to make sure you change the source as well. Usually you would only do this if the new source is newer, more reliable, or otherwise superior to the existing source.
