File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Zoo Photos 139.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. (ESkog)(Talk) 20:22, 25 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

A recent reversion edit

I'm questioning your logic in the following reversion: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Barn_Owl&diff=prev&oldid=309967490

Could you provide some rationale on my talk page? Thanks. Bob the Wikipedian (talkcontribs) 21:17, 25 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for clarifying.  :) Enjoy Wikipedia! Bob the Wikipedian (talkcontribs) 18:19, 26 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Signing your name on your posts edit

I saw you made a post on Bob's page, but didn't sign your name (at least, not in the fancy way).

All you have to do is type four tildes (~). Otherwise it has this very ugly thing about being an unsigned comment. Jabberwockgee (talk) 05:49, 26 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Creating a new section edit

Also, on the top of the talk pages, there is a tab that says 'new section.' Just demonstrating :) You may want to do that whenever you leave a message on someone's page. It gets kind of messy if there's no sections. Jabberwockgee (talk) 23:55, 26 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Vetgirl13: Sandbox edit

Is not a sandbox in your userspace, but an article in mainspace. Which is not a good thing. I'm going to ask for it to be deleted. Set yourself a proper sandbox up here: User:Vetgirl13/Sandbox --Tagishsimon (talk) 20:33, 29 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Vetgirl13 Talk: edit

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Speedy deletion nomination of Vetgirl13: edit

A tag has been placed on Vetgirl13: requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

User page: Example [Vandalism - Using improper humor - Level 2 Violation] edit

Thank you for your contribution, but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and neutral. Our readers are looking for serious articles and will not find joke edits amusing. Remember that Wikipedia is a widely-used reference tool, so we have to take what we do here seriously. If you'd like to experiment with editing, use the sandbox to get started. Thank you.

You are a known wikipedian so this is beyond a "this is your first edit" message. Please don't be funny in a serious encyclopedia. Thanks! Piandcompany (talk) 23:33, 22 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Welcome! edit

Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Vetgirl13! I am Airplaneman and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!
