A tag has been placed on Fore Abbey, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. If you plan to add more material to the article, I advise you to do so immediately. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Dan0 00 22:44, 26 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Edit style

edit

Just a quick heads-up, I noticed your edit at Bray here, and a couple of your other edits are of a similar style.

  1. It isn't correct to leave bolded words in the middle of paragraphs (only the title in the lead paragraph would be in bold); we also leave hyperlink signs on words, i.e.[[]], even if the page they direct to has not yet been created.
  2. When you are creating reference sections, you seem to be deleting the external links sections which are below (eg. here). It is normal to leave both section titles in place, so that one list does not run onto the other.
  3. References from other language wikipedias (eg. here) are not valid citations - please try to use reliable external websites instead.
  4. The use of < br > tags in between paragraphs (eg. here) is not usual; simply hit the downspace button and continue.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. Thanks. Schcambo (talk) 20:29, 11 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Westmeath 07.png

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Westmeath 07.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 01:55, 16 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:Westmeath.png

edit

The file File:Westmeath.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 10 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
