Banned edit

Please stop placing "banned" tags on userpages. It's unnecessary, and banning is a community decision reserved for severe conduct issues, which isn't the case for many of the tags you've placed. You're making work for other users by placing pointless and inappropriate tags. Even if they are in fact banned, you shouldn't place them unless you have a clear understanding of the process and the circumstances that led to the action. Please also be careful with placing sockpuppet tages, and please refrain from tagging them as confirmed in all but the most obvious cases. Acroterion (talk) 13:56, 5 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

I agree with Acroterion, please allow the SPI clerks and admins to place the sock tags as it is important that the correct templates are used.--Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 15:40, 5 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
I jacksutton (talk · contribs) isn't indefinitely blocked, only blocked for a week. I suggest that you spend some time working on the encyclopedia and learning its ways before spending so much time tagging userpages. Acroterion (talk) 15:41, 5 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
And Yogesh Khandke (talk · contribs) is a user in good standing who doesn't need to be tagged for some past history. Stop tagging userpages: you don't have sufficient understanding of policy or procedure to do so. Acroterion (talk) 15:44, 5 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
And stop moving templates: you moved the template to an inappropriate title so you could change its use without consulting with any of the users who actually use the template. I've repaired the damage: slow down. Acroterion (talk) 15:51, 5 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
If you want a template for DC, copy it to the appropriate title and modify it. Acroterion (talk) 15:53, 5 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

May 2014 edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Template:User Washington, Maryland. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Chris Troutman (talk) 16:13, 5 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
