The existence of these articles, like the articles of Marsa Al Arab and Dubai Maritime City, was empty and I created this Al Maha Island and Qetaifan Islands and of course this is a common thing.Verddieta (talk) 05:42, 24 December 2022 (UTC)

Hi. They are not commercial properties. They are famous centers like other reputable centers. The reason is the completion of the building project in the Middle East such as the UAE and Qatar. If it is to be removed, all centers such as Al Reem Island should be removed and Al Maryah Island be deleted as well. Verddieta (talk) 08:44, 24 December 2022 (UTC)

In the case specifically of Qetaifan Islands, the article was absolutely full of puffery, including entirely unnecessary adjectives, e.g. "abundance of natural beaches", "multitude of docks", "charming residential properties", "family friendly beach club", and the whole thing goes on and on like that. Leave editorializing and puffery like that out. An article should just describe, in a strictly neutral tone, the facts confirmed by reliable and independent sources, and in no way "talk up" or promote its subject. Ok. But If the problem with puffery was in the details, you would have corrected the details instead of questioning the entire article and including a quick deletion. I am not responsible and voice for promoting any organization or place. This is a normal procedure like the ones mentioned, I making articles about famous places. Advertisements get deleted, as per the G11 criteria (and the issues I noted were examples of the problems, not by any means an exhaustive listing of them.) I suspect it's likely that the island itself probably is notable and we should have an article about it, but it should describe facts about it, not be written like a real estate brochure. 1. As noted above, the page was deleted for a reason - G11 for unambiguous advertising. The article was not written in the required neutral tone, and was heavily dependent upon promotional/marketing sources.

2. "Famous" is your judgement. The critical test in Wikipedia is 'notability' (read WP:N) - not my personal opinion.

3. I have repeatedly interacted with you - see the three previous messages on your Talk page as well as editorial summaries in previous edits to this and other articles.

Unexplained reversion of edits

Hi, Verddieta. During New Page Patrol work, I made edits to pages including the addition of tags/templates to articles you recently created, including Lagoona Mall, Mirqab Mall and Gulf Mall (this also generated messages to your Talk page above). You reverted those article changes without explanation in your edit summaries - something that previous editors of this Talk page (for example: User:Sheep8144402, User:Dl2000; also pinging User:Seraphimblade) have warned you about.

Some of the content you are creating or editing appears to be unduly promotional - please read: "Wikipedia is not a soapbox or means of promotion" (WP:Promotion); this is why other editors are changing the articles concerned or, in some cases, proposing their deletion. This is your personal opinion. Wikipedia is not going according to your standards. I am not a preacher or administrator, but I create pages that should have been created earlier. 2. "Famous" or "important" are your value judgements. The critical test in Wikipedia is 'notability' - please read WP:N. You might also consider 'neutral Point of View' (WP:NPOV). This is a non-negotiable standard that all Wikipedians should apply

Hi Verddieta, I noticed you reverted the redirect of MIA Park to Museum of Islamic Art, Doha. The recent AfD closed as merge and the article was tagged with {{Afd-merge to}}, meaning there is standing consensus for the redirect. If you disagree, the appropriate venue would be WP:DRV or to create a new draft article that addresses the concerns from the AfD and submit it via the WP:Articles for creation process. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
